I visited Toyota service department today. I was in for my tire on the right passenger side. If I could give a negative star I would. I came in the other day looking for a trade in value for my car. I was talking to another member who was helping me and explaining things, and the sales manager Gary Mattision rudely interrupted our conversation. He came in very agressive, and cold. He kept referring to my mother and I as “Mama” which was very unprofessional and to us very disrespectful especially after coming off agressive. He was very condescending from the start until the end. It was made clear he was trying to show his superiority over us while we were just asking questions. While we were asking questions he would cut us off and kept asking in a very rude and agressive way, “how much do you want for the car?” Once we responded how much we would want for the car based off of the results we got from Kelly blue book, Craigslist, and CarGurus. He replied saying, “you think you can get that much for your car? You’re gonna be spending more money bringing it in for service than you’ll get for the car” in a very demeaning way. He made me feel very low, and after that comment I started to cry because I had been spoken down on, and felt so disrespected. I’m a very dedicated, and loyal costumer to Toyota and have taken my car to Toyota for services for YEARS, because I had trusted them and liked the people. After this, it made me second guess them and the people they hire. Once Gary saw me tearing up he was still very rude and ended things still showing his superiority to me and my mother with his tone and demeanor. I’m very, very disappointed and hurt by the way Gary handled this, and for how he spoke to my mother and I. I can’t believe Toyota lets people like this represent them. More
Was interested in buying a new 4Runner TRD Pro, which was advertised on Cars.com. Company contacted me very quickly, however, they didn't have a new 4Runner available, only a used one. Then I asked when they advertised on Cars.com. Company contacted me very quickly, however, they didn't have a new 4Runner available, only a used one. I have purchased 4 cars from this dealership. I will never purchase a car from them again. I recently had to take my car in for the 15k service. After requesting more than a visual inspection on I will never purchase a car from them again. I recently had to take my car in for the 15k service. After requesting more than a visual inspection on my brakes- they found that my rotors were warped. No one can explain why a part that should like between 30-70K miles warped. Well, their explanation was to blame the drive. This has never been a problem in the 3 other cars that I drive, and I only commute 3 miles to work. They refuse to honor the warranty stating that it is a wear and tear item. They blame corporate and corporate blames the dealership. They do not treat their customers like they are valued or work to come to a resolution. Fix it there or take it to another dealership- or repair place. Never in my life have I had such an awful experience. Darlene the service manager is rude and condescending. She was unwilling to listen and simple gives generic answers- just continually stating it is external factors. Save yourself the hassle and headache and go somewhere that they value their customers. I’ve bought a 2021 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium, 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE, 2022 Prius Prime Limited, 2021 RAV4 Prime from this dealership. I’ve bought a 2021 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium, 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE, 2022 Prius Prime Limited, 2021 RAV4 Prime XSE, and most recently, 2023 BZ4X FWD Limited. I worked with Cal, Dave, Danny, Ted, and Steve Nash (not the former NBA player but still an MVP). I had a great purchasing experience with these guys and would not hesitate dealing with them again, if I were to buy another vehicle. So, if you are looking to purchase a vehicle, look for these guys. More
