John Eagle Honda of Dallas responded

We apologize for trying to make a small profit on selling a product. Honda does not offer a customer rebate so when you purchase a vehicle for invoice in most cases unless Honda has any incentives the dealer is make roughly 2% profit. Considering the things you buy every day I would assume this is a small profit margin. Example a cup of coffee or just about any piece of clothing you wear. Plus we don’t make anyone purchase anything unless they want to.

Reading comprehension is obviously not a requirement to work for John Eagle Honda. No where did I mention anything about a "customer rebate". I was referring to incentives paid to the dealer by the manufacturer (which every dealership receives, whether you care to be honest enough to admit it or not). Your analogy of buying everyday items like coffee and clothing are ridiculous, and more to the point......foolish. As for profit, care to show your annual report to your customers??? I'm sure they will be impressed. As for purchases... you are correct. That is why I will not be doing any future business with your organization. Another "right" I have is to advise others to use caution when dealing with you as well.
