Got a notice for a recall for my Hyundia. A year later the recall fix was finally ready. Called the dealer to schedule the fix for the recall. I received 2 reminder text for the service. When I arrived the service advisor said they did not have the parts for the recall. I made it clear, when making the appointment, that I was coming in for the recall. They should have had the part! If not they should have a least called to reschedule the appointment so I didn't have to get up early and drive there for nothing. More

I had a simple request and that was to get the price on a vehicle that was listed on cars.com. It was anything but simple in getting an answer. Prior to providing me the price, they needed to know my name vehicle that was listed on cars.com. It was anything but simple in getting an answer. Prior to providing me the price, they needed to know my name, phone number and also asked for my email. After sharing some of that information with them, it was determined that they did NOT have the vehicle and it was at another location they owned. I called the other location and also got a runaround prior to providing the price. But, alas, this was not an easy request as well. The salesperson needed to talk to the sales manager to get the price but he was in a meeting. Eventually, I was told that the car had a problem with the title and they didn't feel it would be a good fit/vehicle for me, but they had plenty of others that might. Wasted over twenty minutes on 2 calls in a situation where it is dubious that they even had the vehicle. More
A great experience until I signed the paperwork. The car stink of cigar smoke which I was told would be taken care of...then after I closed the deal I'm told there is only one fob. Amato had my truck from 7/28-9/18 Then I had to return my truck from 9/28-10/2/23 for a new engine. I have lost my job, I have paid thousands of dollars in rental car fees. I have never been anything but well pleased with the service I've gotten at John Amato Hyundai. My appointments were always scheduled quickly and at a time convenient for me. Amato wanted to charge me $180 for a 4 wheel alignment when they had the service special on their site for $110. They said the site was wrong and would take the special down immediately but gave me the al when they had the service special on their site for $110. A great experiencing signing onto a new car lease in May 2023. Our sales manager, Peter, was incredibly responsive over email and a delight to work with in person. We we were able to work out 90% of the details of the deal before even stepping foot in the dealership. For that last (and dare I say most important) 10% we had the pleasure of working with Phoenix. He was the most friendly and chill salesman I've come across and as bright as the city he's named after. I think our test drive was the longest part of the whole process (minimal exaggeration) due to the entire team's attentive approach & process knowledge and execution. And I would be remiss if I also didn't give credit to Elisa for being the fastest typist this side of the Mississippi to finalize all the finance details. Really appreciate this team for everything they did for us and their honest and helpful approach to what can typically be a terribly stressful process. More
Except sales person the entire team was not helpful. Finance manager was disrespectful and insulting, sales manager was hand in glove and he did not care what customer is trying to say.
