I am astounded to see all of the negative reviews on this website for Joe Myers Toyota in Houston. Joe Myers Toyota is by far the best Toyota dealership in the entire Houston area. The people at Joe Myers ar website for Joe Myers Toyota in Houston. Joe Myers Toyota is by far the best Toyota dealership in the entire Houston area. The people at Joe Myers are really the best. I have never had anything close to a bad experience there. From sales to service, everything has been great. I only buy Toyotas because they are so reliable. And the sales and service people at Joe Myers Toyota are some of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met at a car dealership anywhere. Always a pleasure to be there. More
I took my grandson's 2008 Toyota Tacoma to Joe Meyers for front end alignment. They claim they have inspectors check the vehicle while it is in the shop. Of course, they produce a long list of problems with front end alignment. They claim they have inspectors check the vehicle while it is in the shop. Of course, they produce a long list of problems with the truck. For example, I was told the front brake pads were worn down to one thousandth inch. Basically metal to metal. I had my grandson change the brake pads that very evening. Those worn brake pads were all about 1/4 inch, had many miles remaining. They didn't inspect the pads, or they wouldn't have told me that. Just trying to sucker the customer into changing the brakes, etc. More

I need plates or new temp tags now, fix it! I bought a Corolla cash for a commuter car at the beginning of June and a couple of weeks later I got a call from someone in the service department I bought a Corolla cash for a commuter car at the beginning of June and a couple of weeks later I got a call from someone in the service department saying I need to bring it back for a state inspection because the system is down…xxx?? I’ve worked for a dealership ship for over 6 years and never heard of this issue. So I scheduled an appointment to bring it in because it was needed for registering the car. I called back the day before my appointment to reschedule and the lady I spoke with said “why did someone schedule this appointment if the state inspections are still down?”…dumb. She ended up telling me to call back another time to reschedule and see if the system is working again. I asked if y’all can call me whenever yall know and she said no, (xxxxty xxx service). I let her know my temp tags will expire at the end of the month so someone needs to call me because it’s going to be a big issue, she just kept telling me I need to call back. I continued with my life and of course no one ever called me. I called and someone told me the system was still down and no eta. So I called again a few days later and they said it’s working so I scheduled the appointment. I had it completed on 7/25 and told the service manager that was helping me that the temp tags expire on 7/31, can they renew it? She called the sales manager to find out and they told her no, but they told her to give to the people up stairs and they can get it processed and have the plates by 7/31 (didn’t believe it). I called on 7/31 and spoke with someone in titles about getting new temp tags and they said they can’t give me new ones but they can put in a request for some with the county and should have an approval the same day or by Friday and I will receive a call. I told her I still have to drive the car song with expired plates and what happens if I get pulled over or get a ticket for it?.. she said the local authorities are aware of the state inspections being down but if I get a ticket then I should contact them. It’s 8/5 and I still have not heard back from anyone and I’m still driving around with expired temp tags. If I get a ticket you can bet your xxx I’m calling back with a lawyer and the news channel. Jose (Manager) kept telling me there were no issue with my suv, but there was clearly an issue as another Toyota dealership had identified the proble Jose (Manager) kept telling me there were no issue with my suv, but there was clearly an issue as another Toyota dealership had identified the problem. My car was covered with warranty as well, but they refused to chamge the part. Never to buy or service here. A big scam dealership. Avoid from going here. No one here cares about the customer or their safety. They should be reported for running this business unethically. More
Went for a diagnostic on a vehicle we purchased from there last year and were ok to pay the 179.99 fee but they just charge 428.28 instead with no explanation or notes in the invoice. Totally unprofessi there last year and were ok to pay the 179.99 fee but they just charge 428.28 instead with no explanation or notes in the invoice. This place is just filled with a bunch of incompetent and inept employees. It took the service department 5 times to fix my car horn and I had another issue they neglected to tell me about. The customer serv inept employees. It took the service department 5 times to fix my car horn and I had another issue they neglected to tell me about. The customer service manager, Rodney, is a joke. I stopped at Joe Myers Toyota to purchase a Camry, but I was turned off by the person cooking at the dealership. I did not mind him wearing a Trump baseball cap but when he started talking politics to custo was turned off by the person cooking at the dealership. I did not mind him wearing a Trump baseball cap but when he started talking politics to customers that was a reason to leave. I not sure if he works for the dealership or third-party vendor but keep your opinions to yourself. A place of business should be neutral, but I guess this is the world we live in now. More
