I would never purchase a vehicle here again. I wouldn’t have thought with this large dealership like this would want a customer have to do repairs on a week old purchase instead of making this right. DO NOT BUY HERE More
One star doesn’t express my distain for Joe Myers Ford. They treated me as though they did not care about my business. Most car dealerships will not let you leave without placing you in a vehicle, but I visited on several occasions and still walked away empty handed. I was purchasing a Ford Bronco, so I knew there would be a wait involved. But, after months of hearing nothing, I went in-person to inquire about the status of my order. My first salesman, Aaron, quit about 6 months after I paid a $500 deposit and made my initial order with him. I was not rerouted to another salesman. Then I was informed that they were unable to locate my order in the system, and that I would have to reorder. I was assigned another salesperson and reordered. I followed the Ford.com email updates and was pleased when I tracked that my order had come 3 months later. I was out of town at that time, so I waited for my phone to ring with the good news from my 2nd salesman, Devin, as promised. He had assured me that the experience I had with the previous salesman was not the norm. The call never came. Upon returning to Houston a week later, I again, went to the dealership. I was informed that Devin had received a promotion and was moved to the finance department. No one even knew my Bronco had arrived. They scrambled to find the keys and then drove the car to the front area. Out of the specific items I ordered on the vehicle, more than half were missing. I thought that that was the purpose of the ‘Special Order’…to get what you wanted. Disappointed , I did not take ownership of that Bronco. A 3rd salesman, Sid, called me on the phone the next day, apologized for the errors, and made an appointment for me to come back in and re-re-order. I, once again, drove to the dealership. We worked some numbers and I was even able to receive ’invoice pricing’. Deciding to be proactive and initiate a telephone dialogue with this 3rd salesman, I called him on two separate occasions to discuss my order. Sid never answered my calls, nor did he call me back. It’s been almost one year of dealing with this Ford dealership. I ended up purchasing my vehicle elsewhere. Zero stars needed! More

I dropped off my truck for an oil change a few days ago. They have a coupon that bundles an oil change, tire rotation, air filter and multi point inspection all into one price called “the works”. I purchase They have a coupon that bundles an oil change, tire rotation, air filter and multi point inspection all into one price called “the works”. I purchased my truck here years ago and have been getting “the works” for years now. While my truck was in service they sent me a list of recommendations of other work my truck needed. I denied everything except the front brake job. The sales advisor was adamant about me changing my front brakes as he stated they were “metal to metal”. So I agreed to get the front brakes replaced. Mind you I never felt any type of resistance from the brake pedal or heard any type of noises when I was braking. Hours pass I call and they tell me my truck should be ready for pick up in 20 minutes. So I decide to drive there and on my way there I receive a call where my advisor tells me that during the test drive to ensure the job went well, one of my calipers broke and that they needed to replace the part and I was going to have to pay another $164 I believe, on top of the front brake job and “the works”. Obviously I didn’t like the idea of me having to pay for that seeing as how it happened while in their service and during a test drive to ensure everything was happening properly. I thought if my brakes were worked on couldn’t they see that the calipers were an issue and should have called me before the test drive? Anyways I got to the dealership and spoke with the service advisor, I was unsatisfied with what he told me so he led me to service manager where he and I had a conversation about what happened. During this back and forth between the service manager and I, I felt as if I was being talked down to, as if I was an annoyance and didn’t feel like I was being taken care of as the customer. The service managers reasoning for my trucks caliper breaking on its own was because of wear and tear and my truck being over 100k mileage. My truck was barely over 100k mileage. I don’t know much about cars and felt i might have been taken advantage of, so hours after the service I contacted a personal mechanic I know and he told me that there was no possible way the caliper breaking had anything to do with anything I did or my trucks mileage. He told me he has worked on thousands of cars and has seen some bad stuff with brakes and high mileage vehicles and the calipers are fine. He believes that the service tech most likely forgot to do something or did something incorrectly to cause the caliper to break and instead of the dealer stomaching the cost, they added it onto my total bill. I’ve been coming to this dealership for years now even after moving an hour+ away. This is the last time I go there. The service advisor I had no issues with but the service manager had a poor attitude and I feel cheated out of money after my last service here. Will not be coming back. I have emailed them twice and have yet to receive a response which is why I’m posting a screenshot review here now. I was advised by multiple people to report them for their dishonesty. That will most likely be my next step since they have yet to reach out. More
