8 days without a diagnostic of my car, 8th day car was LOST So I took my car into the service station because I had been having minor issues with my engine and there was a faint ticking sound. I went in and spo So I took my car into the service station because I had been having minor issues with my engine and there was a faint ticking sound. I went in and spoke with the technician Amanda. She made my appointment. Mike the technician that was assigned to my ticket number for my car. After waiting 2 hours they told me that I could leave and they would call me when they found out what the issues was with the car. (After the diagnostic) I asked about a rental or a loner car. Mike told me that until they found of the issue with my car they wouldnt be able to provide me with a rental or loner car. I had no issue with that because they assured me that it wouldn’t be long before they found out what was going on. Days went by. I HAD NO CAR. I called Mike daily asking for updates. He was very short with answers and unprofessional the entire time dealing with me. On day 7 I went into Volkswagen to talk with him face to face since calling him wasn’t getting anywhere and to also see what I could do because I needed to get around! I have a small child and a job. Not having my car for 7 days and no loner car is completely unacceptable. Also no answers as to what is even wrong with my car. Mike called up to the Dodge dealership where he said they had transferred my car because the service men at Volkswagen couldn’t do anything to find the answer after removing the valves (day 1). Mike got on the phone and called Dodge to see if he could get an answer as to what was going on. It took him all of 3 minutes to say they were still working on the diagnostic and couldn’t find the issue with the car. I asked does it usually take 7 days to get a diagnostic check? He was very short and said he couldn’t really tell me much else. Day 8 I made a call myself to the Dodge dealership and spoke with a technician named Mike he proceeded to tell me THEY NEVER SEEN MY CAR, NEVER STARTED A DIAGNOSTIC ON THE CAR, and that he tried to tell Mike(Volkswagen) this on the phone the day he LIED to my face and sent me out of the store with no answers or no rental car, and also lying to my face saying there was a technician working on the car that never even made it to the proper dealship. My car was located on Honda parking lot just sitting for 5 days by the time we found out what was going on. It took them all of 30 minutes to complete the diagnostic and to get my into a rental all for my car to be done the next day. Almost 10 days of waiting and being dealt with in a very unprofessional, and disrespectful manner. I would never recommend this type of service to anyone, and if this is who Joe Machens operate business I will never be coming back again once my car is paid off. More
