Good experience with Service but body shop needs to improve My 2015 Prius was in the Service Dept because I hit a deer & it required bodywork. I took it to Machens body shop. They completed the bodywork & thoug My 2015 Prius was in the Service Dept because I hit a deer & it required bodywork. I took it to Machens body shop. They completed the bodywork & thought they had the other issues (electronic, throwing error codes, warning lights on dash etc) corrected so I picked up my car & had only driven it 2 miles or less when I saw it doing the same as when I brought it in for the bodywork (intermittent overheat light on dash, cabin fan blowing high while setting on auto with no heat being sent into cabin - light on dash stayed on for short time then went out & repeated this until it began blinking like a turn light does when you engage it & then it went off & the check engine light came on and stayed on). Anyway, I took it back to the body shop & explained it was doing the same as when I brought it in. They played with it some & then thought one of the water pumps was making a strange noise so they sent it over to the Service Department (where it should have gone the first time to determine the weird behavior with the warning lights, fan etc). They promptly said the water pump had to be replaced, then ran everything on the computer & it checked out just fine. Picked up the car for the 2nd time and it's running perfectly just as it has since we bought it new until we hit that deer about 3 weeks ago. So, Service handled things well, but the body shop sometimes has a problem really listening to what you tell them when you bring a car in and then following up properly on what they've been told. More

Even with an appointment it will take minimum two hours for a routine checkup. “Coupons” not worth anything. Had “up to $100 on parts and service” coupon and saved like $10 on a $120 bill. And the reason it was $120 was they sold me an air conditioning service when they told me it was a fluid top off. More

Provided additional work without additional cost I had a quote for a repair calling only for the replacement of 1 part. However, once the technician replaced the part, it was found another part was n I had a quote for a repair calling only for the replacement of 1 part. However, once the technician replaced the part, it was found another part was needed to regain complete functionality and get the repair done correctly. Since the additional part was only $25, Dominique went ahead and ordered it for me and called to let me know. He informed me I could bring the vehicle back in and complete the repair with no additional labor cost. I felt this was more than fair and Dominique was great to work with More
