Purchase of Toyota Venza I went to Joe Machens Toyota looking for a used AWD SUV, knowing the exterior & interior colors I HAD TO HAVE, the options I wanted, and what compromi I went to Joe Machens Toyota looking for a used AWD SUV, knowing the exterior & interior colors I HAD TO HAVE, the options I wanted, and what compromises I might be willing to make. Salesman Cody Mims patiently showed me every SUV on the lot & online within my budget that met most of my criteria. Unfortunately, my "perfect car" wasn't within budget. After driving several cars, I decided on an SUV that I didn't "love". Cody then found a Toyota Venza and asked me to keep an open mind since it had a Beige interior, which was unacceptable with kids and dogs. Once I drove the Venza, I FELL IN LOVE! The color was white, and since the Beige seats were leather & the rest of the interior Charcoal Gray, it was PERFECT! The Venza has every option I dreamed of and is now mine! Cody Mims listened to what I wanted, did not push me to buy a car priced above my budget, and went above and beyond to find my "perfect car". And we will continue to return because we like their product and their service. Two folks in particular I want to give a shout out to are Scotty Justice and Peter Herman. Scotty was our "go-to" salesman who made sure everything worked like clockwork. On time; ready to go. He knows his cars, and he is energetic and personable. Once we picked up the car, we spent several hours with Peter Herman who serves a new niche in the car dealer business: He is a "delivery specialist." and let me tell you, with this new Highlander we bought, I call it a computer on wheels. It's not easy learning to navigate the new technology in these cars, but Peter has the patience of Job, and knows what every switch, nob, and dial does in the car, when to use it and when to leave it alone. We took several of his business cards so we can call him if we need a refresher. I can't say enough good things about these guys. And I must also give a public nod to Dan Keller, the manager of the whole operation. He knows how to treat people with respect and kindness and his soft personal touch helps to seal the deal every time. More
