I don't usually write reviews but I was extremely pleased with my experience at this store a couple of weeks ago, so I decided I should spread the word. I was looking for something new that would get better gas mileage than my SUV at the time but would have enough room for my family including two young children. From the moment I set foot in the store, I felt it was all about me: What car I wanted that would work best, what color, what price range, what extras - it was up to me to choose the car that I wanted and would love, with Scott and Jason's guidance along the way. I was interested in both a Tuscon and a Sonata, but was leaning more towards the Sonata because I am a fan of sporty cars. Scott was very helpful in telling me what options were available and educating me about the features of the car (and some cool features they were!). Of course with two kids my family is on a limited budget, so we decided that it would be better for us to lease instead of buy. Jason took the time to work out what would fit our family financially, and helped ease our minds when making the big decision of getting a different car. I am pleased to say that we are the proud owners of a 2012 Sonata now and it couldn't be better! The MPG is great and I love the sporty little thing! I have told all of my friends about my experience and what great cars they have available. I would highly recommend the guys at Joe Machens Hyundai in Columbia if you want it to be all about you - from beginning to end when you leave with your new car! More
1. Lying to customer said the condition of the car was "new". (There was damages under the bumper and high miles for new car) 2. The Sales and Finance Managter did not approach us professionally they were unfriendly, unprofessional, untruthful. 5. Playing games on the total amount on contract. 6. Selling our trade-in car on thebe website but did not finish the trade-in paper work with the finance company. 7. Attempted to contact them about the situation but they pushed us over. No answer and when we called we were ignored or put on hold 8. Told us we were getting free oil changes but like the gas card we are still waiting. 9. Told us the only option to get this car is "buying".( tried to lease this car) More

Upon entering the dealership we met our sales Marjorie Beam, she was very friendly, knowlegable, and was not a typical car salesperson at well. She listened to what we wanted and worked very hard to find us 2 vehicles that fit our needs. Marjorie , and Mike hope I got his name right (sales manager} worked with us to come up with a deal for us on Monday night that fit our requirements. Once we agreed on a price the rest went quickly and smoothly and we picked up our new Veracruz the next day. friendly people and they worked hard to get us a great deal and a very good price satisfied customers More
The dealership lied to get us in there, then insulted me. They did not even want to give me blue book value on my trade in. Have made several trips in there at their request to give them infornmation that They did not even want to give me blue book value on my trade in. Then they lie to finance company saying we have never provided them any information. I love my car but will NEVER go back to this dealership or any other dealership owned by Machens. More
