New Tires w/ Alignment & Balance Because my husband scheduled the appointment for installing new tires- yea, on sale! - on the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend, of course they we Because my husband scheduled the appointment for installing new tires- yea, on sale! - on the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend, of course they were realllllly busy. We settled into a room just outside the service area that also had television. It was a great place for the preschooler and mom to settle into as well with the PBS kids program schedule. The area was clean, close to restrooms, vending machines in the lobby area, beverages, etc. The preshooler asked his mom if the floor was glass - it was that clean. As soon as I saw all of the other patrons, I knew we would have a longer wait. My service rep came back near the end to explain that the tech had difficulty with the alignment; we live in a small town that has had street work going in our every direction for a year or more -- my "baby" was really out of alignment as a result. The form/diagram proved it. Apparently, they checked my "baby" for a few other things and noted an item to be checked again at my next oil change but also noted that it is not a dangerous thing at the moment. Of course I am returning my "baby" for scheduled maintenance at Machens Hyundai to keep her running and me informed. More

roof trim replacement The strip of roof trim that fits in with clips had buckled, somewhat due to hail perhaps, so needed to be replaced. Ordered by Chris Sanchez, and put in by someone in service shop. Appears to be ok - no need for duct tape to hold it in. Also got washed while there. Thanx. More
