Worthwhile trip from St. Louis After researching several different cars over the past couple of months we decided on a Ford Taurus AWD. We found one listed on the internet at Joe Machens in Columbia. We live in the St. Louis area so this was a bit of a drive for us. A little reluctant but went ahead and made the trip. It turned out to be a worthwhile trip. We met with Nate Hart who I would highly recommend to family and friends. He was not only professional but very easy to deal with. We knew what we wanted to pay for the car and Nate helped us get there. After closing the deal Nate spent time showing us how to use all the features of our new car. Outstanding F-150 Buy We went to Machens to price a new '15 F-150, built to our specs. Troy said they would beat anyone's price and gave us their price for the truck. We looked and called around and found that they were correct. We ordered the truck and when it came in, the price was exactly what they promised and lower than anyone else by a lot. The truck was exactly what we ordered. Then they sold and installed a few extras (mudflaps, etc.) at dealer cost and free installation (thanks Troy). WOW! Troy could not have been more accommodating and followed through on every promise. He also gave wise counsel on what to order and how it fit our needs. We certainly got the exact F-150 we wanted at the very best price possible. Throughout, the entire staff was honest and straightforward with us. A really outstanding buying experience. Only two things detracted from our experience: (1) We wanted to use our credit card for part of the purchase, but the financial paperwork took so long that the cashier's office was closed and we could not (lost some reward points). Don't pick up late in the day. Maybe the cashier could stay until end of business? (2) Folks (including Troy) would answer their phones when they were working with us, so we would have to wait. Voice mail would eliminate that minor irritant. More

I absolutely had a blast purchasing my new Fusion! I was contacted within a day of making a request to the Internet Dept to see if the car I wanted to see was on the Columbia lot. I got the privilege to work with Josh Grantham who greeted me with a smile and clearly is interested in pleasing his customers. He really listened to every detail of what I was looking for and made sure that is EXACTLY what I got. Scott Cross truly made this an enjoyable experience for me and my girlfriend with tons of humor and fun which provided a relaxed atmosphere. The fun continued when I got to seal the deal with Todd Marple who also seems to be very dedicated to his job which he seems to thoroughly enjoy! I would not hesitate to refer anyone looking for a vehicle to this gang of truly enjoyable people. I truly could not have asked for a better buying experience which, to be perfectly honest, I was actually dreading. Salesman can sometimes be a little too pushy for my taste and have had experiences where arrogance seemed to rule their personality. The same absolutely can NOT be said about the aforementioned men.
