On 3/25, I took my Cadillac to Joe Bullard to have my air compressor replaced, I explained to the service associate that I had it checked by someone already and was told I need the whole unit to be repla air compressor replaced, I explained to the service associate that I had it checked by someone already and was told I need the whole unit to be replaced. That's why I have warm air blowing out the vents, and the cold air is not working. I was told they will replace the unit. The Cadillac retailer gave me a loaner vehicle. I left and was told; it should be ready on 3/26. On 3/26, the service department called me and stated, the air compressor was fine. We tested it and didn’t find any problems, so I went ahead and fixed what I felt like the problem was, which was a leak in the evaporator valve. I was lost for words; Bobby did not call me or check with me to repair something different from what I asked to be repaired on my vehicle. They made this decision without my permission. When I came and picked up my vehicle, immediately while driving home my air conditioner was still blowing warm air out the vents. I called back and stated my air conditioner is still not working and you just charged me $2,400 for an item that didn’t fix the problem. I was also provided paperwork from the service department that shows there was nothing wrong with the air compressor when he checked it, but that was untrue. On 3/27, I took my vehicle back to the Cadillac retailer they checked it again, then stating the air compressor is not working. I told them it wasn’t working when I brought it in on 3/25. I feel like, I was taking advantage of because I’m elderly and a woman. After they fixed my vehicle, I was charged the full price for replacing the air compressor, I should not have been charged at all for a leak in the evaporator, when I didn’t ask him to fix that at all. I specifically stated replace the whole unit. Then he ran my debit card twice for the same amount and my bank account was put on hold, due to them thinking it was fraudulent. This is the worse experience by far, I have had with Cadillac service when it's normally a good service. I feel like I am owed the difference of my funds from what I was charged for the service. Friday evening after Christmas shopping our car suddenly had a warning message on the dash and was running hot. Googling it indicated the thermostat was bad. I scheduled online for service but could not get an appointment for several days. I called the service department Saturday morning and explained that we really needed the car. Christian was very helpful and found that there was a cancellation for that day so we arranged to have the car towed. The car was fixed, washed and ready to go before close that day. Excellent service from Christian and Joe Bullard Cadillac! Thank you! More
