Purchasing a new car I was in the market for a new car because my 2010 Chevy Impala was still in good shape but has seen better days. I searched different models and brand I was in the market for a new car because my 2010 Chevy Impala was still in good shape but has seen better days. I searched different models and brands and liked the Chevy Equinox. I began searching on line and had 4 dealers contact me to come look at what they had and to fit my budget and price range. We (my fiancee and I) settled on a 2019 Equinox with 2500 miles used as a courtesy vehicle so I knew it wasn't beaten but barely broken in. In haggling the price, both I and the salesperson bent until we came to a mutual agreement and made a deal. We were treated with respect and courtesy and weren't pressured or hurried in our decision-making process. Although we've only had the car for a day, we feel we made a good choice and are happy with the dealer and the price. More

Piston Replacement Just Out of Warranty I was faced with a faulty engine that needed attention. After finding out that there was a common problem with my 2011 Equinox I began the Consumption I was faced with a faulty engine that needed attention. After finding out that there was a common problem with my 2011 Equinox I began the Consumption Test procedure with Joe Basil. This led to the pistons needing to be replaced. In the middle of the repair job I was informed that GM was initially not going to cover the cost, of the costly repairs, because the special program had ended the year before. I lost my marbles. That's when my Service Advisor, Peter Dellefave and the warranty specialist team, stepped up to bat for me and got this issue resolved and in a timely fashion. Not only did they get the piston Replacement taken care, but there was a timing chain issue, to the tune of $450, that Peter and his team also managed to get covered. Before now I truly had a bad taste in my mouth for dealership service garages, but after this instance, I will not have a problem returning to Peter Dellefave and the team at Joe Basil Chevrolet. I can't thank them enough. More
