Disappointment Hi, I have no issues with the collision repairs made on my truck. The issues I have is what I was told by the young person who had signed me out w Hi, I have no issues with the collision repairs made on my truck. The issues I have is what I was told by the young person who had signed me out when I picked up the vehicle. One of the issues I had was the service traction control and service stabilizer systems had come up om the message odometer reading, after it was hit in a parked setting. I told the insurance adjuster and he said to make sure I let Basil know of the issue. I did exactly that in writing when I dropped it off, they said they would note it to be checked at time of repair. I asked what is the estimated time before I get it back, he reviewed the Preliminary Estimate and said 4-5 days but to expect a week, after two weeks, I called and was told they were waiting for Three parts??, 5 days later they called and said it was ready for pick up. When I picked it up and inquired about the service messages item, and what they found wrong he said they repaired what the preliminary estimate called out. I left and sure as xxxx, the messages show up on the dash every time I drive over 45 for a distance, until I shut the vehicle off. So this is why I am an Unsatisfied customer, I purchased this vehicle from Basil, and will be updating to a newer truck in Spring but most likely not from a Basil dealership James S Flowers More

John in the finance department made us feel like a nuisance and didn’t fax the paperwork to the credit union in a timely mann our new 2019 impala. The woman at the front desk (not the one where u first walk in, but the one facing the tables and chairs), shouldn’t make comments about customers especially if they r in earshot. When we arrived to sign the papers, we waited 1.5 hours to be told they didn’t have all the paperwork. Mike (I believe) didn’t even know why the check was for the amount that it was for. More
STAY FAR FAR AWAY NEVER AGAIN NEVER AGAIN. I have never been so upset and angry in my life. We had been looking at cars for a couple of weeks and urgently needing one but when yo NEVER AGAIN. I have never been so upset and angry in my life. We had been looking at cars for a couple of weeks and urgently needing one but when you're spending that kind of money, you want what is the best price for what you're getting and if you're going to be paying so much it better be good. So we chose a car. We were told its a deal $XXX a month. Ok sounds great right? sure did.... Then we go to pick up the car on Thursday of last week. I knew something was wrong the second we walked in. First its the 12 year old looking finance guy with the attitude who tells us our payment isn't going to be what we were told, it will be $98 a month more. After my reaction suddenly it was dropped down to only $40.00 a month more. Second, the vehicle I picked out was not even ready to be picked up, it was in the used car lot. We walked out angry and upset. We then talked it over and decided on working it out because we really liked this car and this was the one we wanted. So I call the salesman back and leave him a message. I even sent him an email. No response that night, he had gone home for the day. Ok that's fine. The next am I get an email telling me that since the deal blew up the night before that someone is coming from Rochester to look at the car and its out of his hands. So I call the sales manager who was basically useless. I told him on top of all of the issues that I was also upset about the fact that the car we were supposed to pick up was not even ready to go. He assured me it was and I told him it was sitting in the used car lot and it was not. So Friday we get there to sign the papers and think all of the nonsense if over... yea guess again! Still my car is sitting in the used car lot not ready to go. I said something to my salesman and he pointed to a car and said "no your car is right there" pointing at a car I have NEVER seen in my life before. I about lost my mind right then and there. I said look I drove two vehicles with you and that is not one of them and that is NOT the car I am purchasing. So after everything then he comes back and tells me the car I want is $800 more. Not my problem I didn't make this mistake. I knew which car I was talking about. He kept trying to badger me about the price difference. Not my fault I have been negotiating on one car and they chose some random car out of the air to negotiate with me. I only drove 2 and neither of them were even that model. So we told them not to detail the car. Salesguy said he would wash it quick and gas it up..... yea neither of those happened. I was maybe 1 1/2 miles from the dealership when the low fuel light went on. No worrys Basil I will NEVER darken your doorstep again. I will also make sure anyone I know is aware of how crappy I was treated. The only person I liked was the finance lady that was there. The rest of them - useless.... More
