I was charged to fix my thermostat when it was a head gasket and not the thermostat . They would not refund for the thermostat but the head gasket was under warranty. While they were fixing the head gas gasket and not the thermostat . They would not refund for the thermostat but the head gasket was under warranty. While they were fixing the head gasket they had our car for a month . They broke the egr pipe/valve. So the check engine light is on and car sounds terrible. When I called to let them know this was broken when talking to two different people they said they had no authorization to help. The one gentleman we spoke to said ah well that’s to bad .well I can have someone take a look at it. I do not trust them and will not allow them to look at it. You can see where they were well aware they broke the piece and put some type of goop on it to try to patch it instead of fixing the piece they broke. Very disappointed in there customer care and will not be returning. We did find out that we do not need to bring the car there to utilize the warranty if needed In the future. Beware do not bring your car to Joe Basil on Transit Rd!! More

So I was looking at a 1989 Camaro Iroc that joe Basil is asking a ton of money for with only 1100 miles on it , was told vehicle was perfect, when can I come in. So I look closer and the pictures initially asking a ton of money for with only 1100 miles on it , was told vehicle was perfect, when can I come in. So I look closer and the pictures initially look nice but some of the pictures of the undercarriage looked fishy including obvious unsafe rusted brake lines which are clearly visible, so I am thinking how did it pass New York State Inspection and why so much rust with 1100 miles on a collector car? So I checked the car fax. Wow, this car shows a mileage discrepancy in the car fax and it actually has over 100,000 miles on it. Thank goodness I did my homework. I will be sending this to the NY DMV about the brakes and false advertising but take my advice, RUN, don't walk away from these guys. More

I received a letter indicating that my trade was worth $33,700. Based on the fact that it came from the dealer and that they sold and service the vehicle I thought it would be relatively accurate. The act $33,700. Based on the fact that it came from the dealer and that they sold and service the vehicle I thought it would be relatively accurate. The actual quoted price for the vehicle, given by the dealer this past Sat, was $26,000. A far cry from the letter's quoted price. Basically a play to get you to the store. Shame on you Joe!!! Happy to look for a new dealer for my next purchase! More
