Jody Wilkinson Acura

I took my Acura to get a general inspection and make sure it was in good working order. The mechanic when done wrote on the invoice 'Get a new car'. I then asked what was wrong with it, and there wasn't any it was in good working order. The mechanic when done wrote on the invoice 'Get a new car'. I then asked what was wrong with it, and there wasn't anything significantly wrong with it or dangerous. The brakes, engine, exhaust and fluids were all good. Very rude. As if that wasn't enough, the next day while driving, I heard a clunk and a dragging sound. I immediately stopped to investigate it. The front brake caliper had fallen off due to a missing bolt! The mechanic had removed the caliper and had not secured it. I took it straight to the dealer where they almost turned me away since it was near closing time, and asked them to repair their mistake. They did repair it, and that is the only thing they did right. Horrible service with horrible customer service. They acted like it was my fault that they hadn't tightened a bolt properly. They also promised me they would wash the car, and did not wash it. Everybody, from sales to service to parts acts like you are inconveniencing them by talking to them and don't seem to realize who pays their wages. I don't think I've ever seen anyone smile there. More

There are two acura dealerships in Salt Lake city and of the two I prefer Jody Wilkinsons (this one) for service. The reasons why are while the quality of service is about the same Jody's is ussaly consitan the two I prefer Jody Wilkinsons (this one) for service. The reasons why are while the quality of service is about the same Jody's is ussaly consitantly less then Mike Hale, I've never had to come back with a problem either. I also find Uptown Acura to be a little easier to deal with. Perhaps they are less busy. At the verylest if your considering service or buying an Acura give both dealerships a call a compare prices.
