I purchased 2018 GMC Siearra on 9-2-2023. Back was hurting drove and checked it out best I could. On 9-3-2023 Transmission started acting up. I contacted them as soon as they were back open. I finally got in touch with salesman and Used car sales manager. I was told truck was sold as is. I knew it was my fault but I thought they would at least do something for a 24.000 truck plus tax. They finally agreed to give me a $500 check. Haven't got. So I called back and said I would trade it back in on something to keep from buying a new transmission. I was offered $19.500 plus I was going to have and pay a $500 fee. I just paid $24,000 6 days ago. I was also told truck was serviced Transmision fluid was black oil had not been changed These are things I should have checked but like I said my back was hurting the day of purchase. So my fault also. I still haven't gotten my second key or the hub I was told I would get. I tried to get my truck back that I had traded in and cancel the deal as soon as they opened. I was told I couldn't. I bought as is so my fault also. I just hope at this point I at least get the check I was promised to help with Transmission. 9-9-2023 won't start battery. Just make sure if you purchase definitely check out good. More
I purchased a 2013 Mercedes Benz ML350 from Jimmy Smith Buick GMC which was shipped to San Diego, California. The dealership charged me documentation fees to register the vehicle, sales tax, license and ti Buick GMC which was shipped to San Diego, California. The dealership charged me documentation fees to register the vehicle, sales tax, license and title. Later they realized that they couldn't register the vehicle in state of California behalf of me (which I paid for). I was reimbursed for the paid sales tax of $1723.76, however I was not reimbursed for documentation fees of $483.50 for registration, $16.50 for title and $146 license paid to the dealership as part of the contract outlined in the buyer’s order. The dealership shared with me some sensitive information from the previous owners. They wont' reimburse me for the services and documentation that were not provided to me. I filed complaint to Alabama Attorney General STEVE MARSHALL office. Extremely disappointed with this very unpleasant sale! More

I purchased a truck there it took over 4 months to get it fiananced. I had shoulder surgery and called and called to complain about the camera not working correctly and the problem with the radio the truck s fiananced. Buying through Jimmy Smith Buick GMC has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had when purchasing a vehicle. I worked with Martez throughout the purchase agreement and he was anything but p absolute worst experience I have ever had when purchasing a vehicle. I worked with Martez throughout the purchase agreement and he was anything but personable; in fact he seemed rather bothered by the whole process. I asked that the vehicle's heated seats be repaired prior to my purchase to which they told me they would not do that and I advised I would like to cancel the purchase. After walking out of the dealership, they agreed to fix the seats as they wanted to make things right. They initially told me their service guy looked at the seats and it was just a blow fuse (however, they did not have a 20A fuse in their service department... should have been red flag 1). They then proceeded to throw the fuse in the trash so that I could not see it. When I got home, I replaced the fuse which made no difference. I contacted Martez and told him the new fuse didn't work. I asked if I could just take the vehicle to my local ford dealer instead of driving back and forth to Jimmy Smith as it was 2.5 hours away. They advised they had already ordered the new part (so they knew it wasn't just a fuse) and would call when it came in. 3 months later, I drive 2.5 hours (one way), sat in the service center waiting room for 15 minutes, then got told the part they ordered was not the problem.... and that I would need to go to the Ford dealer, have them run diagnostics, and repair the problem (which I had asked to do from the beginning). Martez was there that day and was just as impersonal as he was the day we bought the car (never asked how the vehicle was, how we were doing, nothing... just seemed bothered to "deal with me" again). The service consultant at the desk was the only person that even offered an apology for my wasted 6 hours on a Saturday... didn't even offer gas reimbursement. After getting my seats fixed at Ford, I submitted my service ticket and receipts for reimbursement. After 3 phone calls, 3 emails, and waiting 3 weeks... finally got my reimbursement. However, they only offered a partial reimbursement at first.... I had to call again and ask for complete reimbursement. More
Jimmy Smith Buick is amazing! The employees really care about customers. I always feel like part of the GM family while I’m there! They went above and beyond to help me with my trade in & got me exactly wh about customers. I always feel like part of the GM family while I’m there! They went above and beyond to help me with my trade in & got me exactly what I wanted for my new lease. The scheduling team will always make sure you never forget what time your service appointment is! The accounting clerk is also very thorough on paperwork. Love being a customer of Jimmy smith Buick! More
