On the 17th of July I contacted the dealership about purchasing a custom truck they had on the lot. I spoke with a sales rep who got my info I let him know I had I truck I wanted to trade in on the cust purchasing a custom truck they had on the lot. I spoke with a sales rep who got my info I let him know I had I truck I wanted to trade in on the custom truck.The sale rep said that she needed to make sure it was still available to sale me she called me back told me it was available and I gave her my info to run my credit. So she tell me she has my credit app and will have the manger call me about the truck. I did not hear anything from them the rest of Saturday or Sunday. So I went online and applied for the truck again online I received a approval letter stating that I was in the 700 credit club with jimmy Britt and that I was approved. I call first thing Monday morning the first phone call was at 9:30 am spoke with the sales representative again she told me that her manager had taken over and that they were working the deal out with my bank and then they got all my info on my trade in. So I am under the impression that I bought the truck. They were going to use the same bank that I was financed with already PNC. So I waited and didn’t receive a call from them this is lunch time now so I text the general manager and ask him what was going on with the truck that I was ready to have it delivered or come up and sign the paperwork. His reply was we are in the process of working it out with the bank and that he would give me a call soon as he got everything for me to sign together. I waited until 3:30 pm and called back and ask what is going on with the truck The Internet sales representative told me that he would have the general manger call me right back he was busy at the moment. I get a call back a hour later from the original sale girl telling me that the truck being sold to someone else I ask why she said because they came in the store I live 2 hours from there I was not coming up until I got the go ahead. I let her know how unhappy I was about what happened and that I would be contacting a attorney or filing a complaint with the attorney general. Now do I not only have the truck I have a hard inquiry on my credit report. I think the right thing to do is build me that same truck and sale it to me for the price it was listed for. More
