I felt comfortable about the price and that I would be treated fairly with my trade in. Michael was fantastic. It was hard to believe he had only been there for a couple of months, I would not have guessed it if I had not asked. He was very professional, yet down to earth and friendly. He is a great asset to this dealership and I hope he stays a long time. This was not a first car for me but if I had had Michael during my last purchase I would be back with him for this one. Needless to say I changed dealerships and brand name cars for this purchase and I am so glad I did.Michael along with Scott made this experience well worth my drive from Colbert and I look forward to recommending my friends to this dealership in the future. A great deal followed up with great service! I got a great deal when I purchased from Jimmy Britt Chevrolet two weeks ago. I had a bed liner and front license bracket order for my new truck. Jeremy and Michael made sure I would pay only what the sticker price would have been if they were already on the truck when I purchased. I showed up to have the work done early in the morning. Sales had said I could have a loaner to get back to work. I live 66 miles away so to drive back, then make the round trip again in the afternoon would have made for a long day. Randy, also known as "RC" said as soon as the mechanics came in he would get them to work on my truck so I wouldn't have to make the added trips. A couple hours later the bed liner was in, front license bracket mounted, and a rattle that developed under the passenger side dash was silenced. I was extremely impressed with how RC kept coming into the waiting area and informing customers on the status of their vehicles. He made recommendations and made each person feel like they were the only one that mattered. I live 66 miles away but when time comes for service I will return to Jimmy Britt Chevrolet. You don't just meet a salesman and buy a car, you don't just show up at the service department and sit all day wondering what's going on with your car or truck. You make friends and you form relationships with everyone. Yeah, I will drive 66 miles one way to get my oil changed and to see my friends. Thanks guys! More
Repair, Recall and purchase I was experiencing a cooling system problem with my 2011 Traverse. The gauge showed that the car was close to overheating. I called the service depar I was experiencing a cooling system problem with my 2011 Traverse. The gauge showed that the car was close to overheating. I called the service department on Monday and they told me to bring it in after lunch and they would try to look at it that afternoon. Once I arrived at the dealership they took the information and after a short while it was evident because of a backlog they would not be able to get to it for a while. Service writer, Randy, told me they would like to put me in a loaner vehicle that I could use until the next day. This would give them time to check the problem and determine the correct solution. The last time I brought the vehicle in for service, Bruce, the service manager, had told me that my vehicle was in the group being recalled for seat belt and air bag problems. So, I asked if they could take care of the service recall at this time since they would have it over night. He stated they this should be no problem if they had all the parts in stock. So this was added to the list. Ten days before on a Saturday I had to have a tire repaired. When I got to the dealership It was almost time to close. Randy, the service writer, went the extra mile and worked it around to have a tech stay and do the repair. After the tire was repaired, Randy told me that they found the tread was getting low on the tires and for safety I probably needed to begin to think about replacing them. I asked him to get me a price and e-mail it to me. He did this and sent me the prices the first of the next week. During the week I had compared prices and felt good about the prices he had sent me, so since they were going to have to keep the car, I asked Randy if they could go ahead and put a set of tires on the car. He checked and found they could get the tires I needed in the next day and get them on for me and have the car ready by Tuesday afternoon. I told them to go ahead and put on the tires. I called the dealership on Tuesday and was told the tech had checked the vehicle and the problem was with the gauge and the entire gauge cluster would have to be replace since you could not replace individual gauges. I told them I had an extended warranty through American Auto Shield that would cover this. I gave them the contact information so they could contact the company. They told me it would be the next day before they could get the part in and install it so I would need to keep the loaner and contact them the next day to see when the car would be ready. I called back Wednesday afternoon to inquire about my vehicle and Bruce told me that he had an emergency come up with one of his techs and they had not been able to complete the work on my vehicle but it would be ready before noon the next day. I told him we had a trip to Atlanta planned and for that day and would not be able to pick the vehicle up until Friday. He told me to keep the loaner and use it as I needed. On Friday morning I returned to the dealership to pick up my vehicle. Bruce told me they had been able to complete everything except the recall for the front seat belt anchor (recall 14187). They still did not have the sleeve that was required in stock and would take care of that the next time I came in for service. He had worked with American Shield on the extended warranty and was able to cover all except my warranty deductible. He went over the costs for the work and then went with me to the cashier for me to close out and return the key to the loaner vehicle. The work took longer than originally projected, but I was not inconvenienced because they provide me with transportation that met my needs. Bruce was up front with everything about the parts, the service and the reason for the delays. Randy was helpful in getting me the tires I needed and looking out for my safety. I appreciated their friendly attitude and gracious service. I will be glad to have them handle any service and repair problems I may have in the future. More
Highest Trade Value, Lowest Prices at Jimmy Britt Chevrolet! I had never heard of this dealership. I went to kbb.com to estimate my trade value because I felt the Augusta dealers were too low in their offers an I had never heard of this dealership. I went to kbb.com to estimate my trade value because I felt the Augusta dealers were too low in their offers and they only wanted to sell me a higher priced truck than I wanted. Michael got a lead from my kbb.com inquiry. He contacted me immediately and asked what I was looking for and I gave him the color and options I wanted on my new Silverado. Michael located the truck at another dealership within an hour. He worked out a dealer trade and sent a driver for the truck. Jeremy appraised my trade and was several thousand dollars higher than the Augusta dealers. Scott ensured I got GM Military pricing on the truck and then found every rebate I qualified for to make sure I paid the lowest possible price. I am so glad I went to kbb.com and that Michael got a lead and contacted me. We worked everything out with email and over the phone. The deal was in writing before I went to the dealership. Upon arrival Kasey made sure Michael knew my wife and I had arrived at the dealership. He also made sure we were comfortable until Michael arrived in the showroom. The people at Jimmy Britt Chevrolet are honest, dependable and super friendly. The next time I buy a vehicle, I am going straight to Jimmy Britt Chevrolet. There is no doubt I will get the best deal so there is no reason to look anywhere else. Thanks to everyone at Jimmy Britt Chevrolet for the best truck buying experience I have ever had! More

When contacted by Bernie Baker of Jimmy Britt Chevrole I did internet research to fine a Lexus IS 250 and got multiple responses from dealer sellers. When contacted by Bernie Baker of Jimmy Britt Chevrolet-Buick, I immediately felt confident that it was ok to proceed in my effort. I felt the sincerity of his words and very comfortable that he was giving me accurate information about the vehicle that I could only see in pictures. His description of the the vehicle turned out to be exact. When we arrived at the dealership, we met several members of the sales staff in addition to Bernie, our sales representative. I felt as though everyone we met was our sales person as each treated my wife and me with great respect and consideration. I have not experienced a friendlier automobile sales environment. There was absolutely no pressure or pass off sales tactics. Just very friendly, professional interaction from everyone we encountered. By the end of our purchasing experience, we had met most of the dealership's sales team and the owner; and felt as though we had known each for years. So, in addition to getting an excellent automobile, we experienced what a car buying experience should be. When I had to leave for another commitment before the pick up transaction was completed he let me take the car home and come back the next day to complete the paperwork. I appreciate the trust.
