I was highly disappointed in the service. An oil change and tire rotation should not take an hr and 40 minutes. Also did not reset the maintenance screen on my display and the mileage for return is not cor and tire rotation should not take an hr and 40 minutes. Also did not reset the maintenance screen on my display and the mileage for return is not correct. It is a synthetic oil and is to be changed at 10000 miles not 5000 as the sticker suggest. Just a way to nickel and dime customer by thinking they needed in sooner than necessary. I had a coupon from a competitor and he said they applied it. When i looked at the invoice only the tire rotation was discounted. I also feel they should at least wash the cars for the price they charge for an oil change! More
My Jim White experience was just okay. Nothing unique w/ customer service. We have purchased two very solid vehicles from there which is most important. I was misinformed on recommendations, price quotes and procedures. I was told at first that the transmission fluid change included the filter but that was false. Then I was told it would cost an extra $70 procedures. I was told at first that the transmission fluid change included the filter but that was false. Then I was told it would cost an extra $70 for a transmission filter change at xxx. I received a call shortly after I dropped my car off and was told that the price would increase by over $250 if I wanted the filter because I was "misquoted". I woke up the next day to a puddle of transmisson fluid in my driveway and noticed the drain plug was so loose I could turn it with my fingers. It cost me alot of time and almost a new transmission. I honestly thought I would never have to worry about taking my car to the dealership. They did tow my car and also gave me a loaner for the day but it was a terrible experience. There seemed to be a huge disconnect between the service advisor and the actual technicians. The price for the oil change was excellent. The price for everything else was expensive. Overall I would recommend getting an oil change done there but nothing else. Unfortunately for me the distance to a different Toyota dealership is far or else I would be going to a different one next time. More
I must say that I have been watching the service of my 2016 Toyota 4-Runner since I purchased it there new. I had new plug's installed a few month's ago and I was surprised at the results as the satisfaction was not immediate. The Computer's have to recognize the new part. I have recently made a trip to D.C., etc and the mileage finally improved to where I actually smiled and it actually felt great. I have to admit that I only have 33000 miles now and normally don't drive much. But it seems that's what my SUV wanted was a nice long road trip. Mileage started out at 18.6 and went to 20.70 when the trip was over! This vehicle loves to stretch it's leg's and not just sit in the driveway. I will maintain Jim White as my "SERVICING DEALER!" More
