normally I am pretty happy with the service except I had an oil change 3 weeks ago and they told me I needed an alignment which I had them do then 2 weeks later I noticed oil leaking from under my truck so an oil change 3 weeks ago and they told me I needed an alignment which I had them do then 2 weeks later I noticed oil leaking from under my truck so called them about the issue thinking was a loose drain plug or filter and it was due to when my oil change was done the tech let my skid plate fill up with the old oil and did not wipe it out very disappointing then on top of that the service advisor proceeds to tell me I need an alignment and I said well how is that possible you just aligned my truck less then 200 miles ago so maybe the service advisor should of reviewed my records first and he would of seen I just had the alignment done and maybe your quick check alignment device needs to be recalibrated oh and it gets better I proceed to pick up my vehicle after closing hours and had to wipe off a little more oil residue that was still on the oil pan and noticed oily fingerprints on the driver side door and a couple on the hood you would think if you are fixing something that was done sub par you would be sure to take extra care on fixing the customers issue it is know as customer service not sure yet if i will return for future oil changes for either one of my toyota vehicles i have purchased 5 vehicles from here over the years and have had some issues in the past but was very disappointed this last 2 visits now More

We took our Toyota Camry in to have the driver's side window (that had gone off the track) repaired. It had gone off the track when we rolled it down a few days previous, and we couldn't slip it back int window (that had gone off the track) repaired. It had gone off the track when we rolled it down a few days previous, and we couldn't slip it back into place ourselves. Our usual mechanic was busy, and I needed the window to stay in place so I could commute 86 miles round trip to my job in another town. We called around Toledo for help, and Jim White Toyota repair shop said they could get us in the next day. We took a chance and took the car in early and waited in their waiting area for two hours. I needed to leave then since I had a work-related appointment that afternoon, so I asked if they had fixed the window. (Our usual mechanic fixed it in like ten minutes before a couple years ago, so one would think in two hours it would be fixed.) No, they had done nothing to fix it, and then they tried to tell us that we needed a $400+ window (a whole new window) plus labor costs or else they wouldn't repair it, for a total of $600. (The last time we took it to our usual mechanic for this same fix, he'd done it for nothing!). The window is not broken and our usual mechanic told us that it just needs to be put back on the track inside the door frame. I was desperate to get to my work appointment, so I said let me have the car and we'll call it a day. Jim White Toyota wouldn't give us the keys unless we paid them an outrageous "diagnostic fee". Insult upon injury, when we got home we noticed that a small part of the door panel is missing! They not only didn't fix the window problem, they took off and lost a part of the door panel itself! Maybe they're just sloppy or incompetent mechanics, but with the high pressure up-selling of expensive parts (a whole new window) one has to wonder if they wanted that part of our door's panel to sell on as parts to another Camry owner in need of a repair. Jim White Toyota in Toledo is a total scam outfit, IMO. Avoid this repair shop at all costs. More
