We came from Indiana to buy a used car in June 2021. Kent Keplinger was friendly and helpful, and the price was the best for hundreds of miles in any direction. Be prepared to pay more than you should. Be prepared for them not to LISTEN when you tell them what you want done. Took my car in and asked Kathy Cole to check the starter. She said it was the battery and c them not to LISTEN when you tell them what you want done. Took my car in and asked Kathy Cole to check the starter. She said it was the battery and charged me $275. Had to return it a week later and was told I needed a new starter for the low low price of $917. Dave Moss said I was getting a great deal! That is when he lost my business. I never had a battery problem even though he put that on the work order again on my second visit. That was to justify the $275 charge. It was a blatant lie. I will go to Brown Honda for future service and will tell the 11 people in my family and anyone else who owns a Honda to do the same. Word travels and can make an impact. Check them out on the BBB website. They should be embarrassed and ashamed. They need to take a class 101 on how to listen to the customer and address their needs. More
Couldn’t be more disappointed in my service experience with Jim White Honda. At 4000 miles over warranty my engine seized up. Had my local shop check engine and they said oil level was fine. Got it to Jim with Jim White Honda. At 4000 miles over warranty my engine seized up. Had my local shop check engine and they said oil level was fine. Got it to Jim White and they told me it had 8 quarts of oil and that’s why it seized up. I’m no mechanic. But if my engine had 8 quarts of oil it would have been smoking and leaking oil like crazy and none of that happened. I chose to have someone else look at the car. It was a certified Honda mechanic from Brown Honda in Toledo and he reported that the car had the right amount of oil. I then spoke to a Honda America advocate who told me I was out of luck because she had to go with Jim White service assessment. Needless to say I had to have engine replaced at my expense. 2,000 miles later the transmission went out and I was on the hook for that also. The sales department was great but buyer beware; pray to god you don’t have to have your vehicle repaired by them. More

While shopping the other Dealerships Salespeople seemed afraid to cover these features?? I think it was because they don’t know the features as well, and Bob is the nicest car Salesman around..I recommend Jim White Honda…and Bob White More
