My wife and I visited KIA in order to drive the Forte or Rio, but after driving the strange-looking Soul we fell in love with it. I explained to the salesman and sales manager that we would be a challenge because we had just been discharged from a bankruptcy, therefore credit would be a problem. After negotiating the price, we were required to complete more than the normal amount of information due to our financial situation ( we do have the income to afford the car)and I was getting weary of all the forms,but at the end of the day they were able to obtain financing for us on very good terms and I am very pleased with the way these folks conducted themselves. Chris was a gentleman all the way, and most informative about the car, with just the right amount of urging along the way. We just had the car serviced, and that was also a pleasant experience (if you can call getting any car serviced a pleasant experience). All in all, I would highly recommend this organization to my friends or anyone interested in buying a KIA (we love the car, by the way). More
I've wanted a Kia Sorento for some time. I went to a number of dealerships. What a nightmare..but I am so glad I did. That's how I recognized a fantastic dealership when I came to Carriage Kia. Other dealerships had sales people who acted like they could care less if I bought a vehicle, to those who couldn't answer a single question about the Sorento. Some were pushy and some wouldn't give a straight answer about the price. Cobb County Kia gave me a price and then told me that if I wasn't in the military to add $1000 and if I had my own financing to add $1000 and so on. Do not believe the internet pricing at that dealership folks...make sure you find out how much you have to add before you make the drive! Then I met Chris Stanford at Carriage Kia! Wow! He asked me questions about what I was looking for. He was so personable and knowledgeable that I was completely taken back after everything I had been through. When he felt he had a good idea about what I wanted from my vehicle, he had it pulled up to a cool, shady bay and then went over the many wonderful things about the Sorento. No dealer had done that before. He was fantastic, friendly and really knew his stuff. I was so impressed by his professionalism. I told him I needed a night to make sure this was the vehicle I wanted and he simply said to call if I thought of any questions and he would be glad to help me. The next morning I received a very nice follow up call by his manager Bryan to see how my experience with Chris was and I told him I was on my way over to buy my Sorrento. When I got there they were extremely busy (and rightfully so )and Chris didn't want me to wait too long so he had Meghan finish the paperwork for me. She was so sweet and friendly too. Then Eddie came out and showed me how to utilize the technology in my new car and even synced my phone with my bluetooth system. He too was so friendly and helpful that I wondered how this many nice people could all work at one place. I highly recommend Chris, Meghan and Eddie...Bryan too! Honest, straight forward professionals ...and did I mention...I got a great deal too! They even gave me a sock xxxxxx..what a great group of folks. I will be buying all my future cars here! More

Unfortunately, we had a starter coil go out on our new Kia Soul and left us stranded but fortunatly Kia did send a tow truck who carried our car to Carriage. Even though we did not purchase the car from them their service department was top-notch. This happened on a Sunday afternoon and they contacted us first thing Monday morning, they repaired the car quickly and had it ready for us that afternoon. They even had it washed and vacumed out which was a very nice touch. Carriage really lessened the blow of having problems with our car. More
Darrell Lyles my sales person was just great. My wife and I had trouble agreeing on a color combination so Darrell worked tirelessly bringing cars up for our review. We also changed our mind regarding a V6 versus a 4 cylinder. Again Darrell helped us decide on the 4 cylinder. He also let us drive the 4 cylinder for the nite to help us appreciate the driving characteristics. He presented leasing options as well as buying options. He literally spent hours with us and his attitude never faultered from excellent! The first year free service was a nice bonus. Elyse did a super job describing all the vehicles features. I am 69 years old so this is not my first "rodeo". The people at Carridge KIA are the best I have ever dealt with! More
I would not recommend Carriage Kia. We went with the purpose of buying 2 cars and arrived approximately 12:30 that Saturday. We knew what we wanted and was ready to buy. They did not have the color that I wanted for my vehicle. I was told that this wasn't a problem that they could check around and get any color I wanted from another dealer. In the meantime, they asked for mine and my husband's driver license so that could start preliminary paperwork, etc. They asked what price range/payment range was acceptable to us, which we told the salesman. The salesman disappeared for quite sometime. When he returned, we were told they were still trying to locate a red vehicle and were working on finding financing that would be acceptable to us. I asked about our drivers' licenses and was told that they were in the office, he'd be right back. Again, he was gone for a very lengthly time. In the meantime, I started browsing the internet to see if another Kia dealer close by had the color that I wanted and found that they did. At this time, we had been at Carriage for about 4 hours. When the salesman finally showed up, I informed him that Gwinnett had a red Soul and asked about our driver's license again. At which time, he said they were in the office, he'd be right back. Let him check if they could get the red car. At sometime later, he returned without our license, but then wanted to know what it would take for me to be color-blind. In other words, to take the gray Soul that they had instead of getting a red one. I gave him the amount that would "make me color-blind". He said he would go talk to the manager and would be right back. Again, we waited and waited. Finally, about 6:15, he came back (without our license) and said that he had "Good News". Everything had been approved, that the price range/payment range fell within our requirements and we were ready to start signing the contracts. Now at this time, we had been sitting here for 6-6 1/2 hours and were just ready to get everything signed and head home which was about an hour away. Keep in mind, that we were having to sign & co-sign for 2 vehicles. We finally headed home with our 2 new vehicles about 7:30 that evening exhausted. Oh and we did finally get our driver's licenses back. The next day we started looking through the paperwork, now granted we should have looked more closely before signing, but as I said, we had been sitting at this dealership for about 7 hours and just wanted to go home. The purchase price on the sales contract on BOTH vehicles had been marked up about $3000 above the sticker price. Now, remember on mine, I was expecting a discount to be "color-blind". My husband contacted the dealership immediately. They couldn't give an explanation of the price difference, but shuffled us around to a few different people that would not return our calls. Finally, this week, almost a month after the purchase we were essential told, "Oh, well, you should have looked at the papers you were signing better. There's nothing we can do about it". We are talking almost a $6000 markup on our financing. We feel that they kept our license so we couldn't just leave to visit other dealerships in order to find the color I wanted and they kept us all day to wear us down so that when it came time to sign papers we would be in a hurry to get it done and get home. Upon reading some of the other reviews, apparently, taking people's driver license and holding it is common practice. They even forgot to give one guy his license back. On top of everything else, they were unable to find the spare key for one of the vehicles and it had damage to one of the window seals. We were told to be back at the dealership at noon the next day to pick up the key and to have the damage verified so that they will fix it. We were told by our salesman that he would be there then and that he would have the key. We returned the next day to be told that he was not working that day, they knew nothing about the spare key and said that the service department had to inspect the window damage, but they are not there on Sundays. On a good note, the delivery specialist did an awesome job. More
I scheduled an oil change the day before my visit. The service personel were courteous and friendly and the oil change was done in a timely manner. I brought my car in for the oil change and this was my third service and as always everyone is so nice, professional, and efficient. Jamie is always so professional when I bring my car in, she always asked is there anything she can do or anything I have concerns about regarding my vehicle. Mr. Bryan Roper in the parts department was also very helpful with assisting me with finding the assessories I wanted for my truck. I can't say enough about Carriage Kia's service, product and the friendly professional staff that always makes me feel like family. I was sold when they came all the way from Gainesville to Dunwoody to pick me up when I first wanted to purchase a vehicle. I am a customer for life, love the product, and the staff at Carriage Kia they ROCK!!!! More
