It had become necessary to replace my 18-year old Nissan (also purchased from the Carriage family back in 1992). I had spent the previous weekend looking at various dealerships in another city "doing resea (also purchased from the Carriage family back in 1992). Once I had decided that Kia was my choice due to its excellent safety rating, one of the best warranties available, and more features for the money, I visited my local Kia dealer to see what they had to offer. Upon hearing the benefits with their service department if I purchased there, I decided on choosing a car there. I finally decided on a 2010 Forte. They worked with me to come up with a financing plan that fitted my budget. I had to return the car I was borrowing to my family an hour's drive away. They came up with a plan so I could pick up my car that evening just past their closing time. I would recommend Carriage Kia to anyone who need to purchase a car. More
I walked into Carriage Kia in Gainesville and I was met by Cody who was very polite and willing to help me with the Kia Soul that I was interested in and he answered my questions I had about it. I had seen the Soul commercials and was wanting to find out what I could about them. He got the key and I drove it and was hooked immediately. I told him it had the features I was looking for and the color was a little different that what I wanted, but it worked out great anyway. The process of paperwork took a little more time than I expected, but overall it went very smoothe. I have been driving the Soul about 5 days and love it and the lady who took her time explaining the ins and outs of the car was one of the best things that a prospective car buyer could ever wish for. It has made my adjustment to this vehicle so much easier. Thank you so very much and you will be highly recommended to all my friends and we would buy from you again if need be. Thank you. My wife and I were extremely impressed with the courtesy and helpfullness from Chuck Mjolsness and the rest of the staff at Carriage Kia. The staff went all out to insure that we understood all proceedings and helpfullness from Chuck Mjolsness and the rest of the staff at Carriage Kia. The staff went all out to insure that we understood all proceedings and worked very hard to build a fair and equitable deal for us. We feel like this was the best car buying experience we have ever experienced. Upon completing the transaction, the staff introduced us to the parts and maintenance department and they checked it out one more time, altho it was already showroom ready. Great experience ! More
They were very nice and helpful. I love the car. As far as the car dealership is concerned, I have nothing but nice things to say. This, however, is annoying to any customer and I think you should reconsider how this is handled. More
I had a pleasant time at this dealer. Everyone was really nice. I had just finished having a Horrible Experience at a neighboring KIA dealer. The dealership employee were very friendly and helpful, I loved it dwhen we took delievery of the car and every feature was explained to us. I visited Carriage Kia in Gainesville because I needed service on my Mitsubishi, and stayed to purchase a new Sorento. My salesperson was very helpful, upbeat and seemingly tireless. The General Manager w service on my Mitsubishi, and stayed to purchase a new Sorento. My salesperson was very helpful, upbeat and seemingly tireless. The General Manager was also extremely pleasant, as were the people in the finance office and the receptionist. Other reviewers mentioned the time the dealership spent 'initiating' them as new owners of a Kia to make sure they knew how to operate the features and amenities in the car. I was also suprised and pleased to have the instruction with my new Sorento. It helped a great deal and made the drive home a little safer (I had to use my windshield wipers on the way home and I knew right where to find them!) Thank you Carriage Kia! More
We had great customer service. All the features of the car were explained very well. We especially liked the 100,000 mile warranty on the powertrain and the 60,000, 5 year bumper to bumper warranty. We left the dealership to look at other cars and he even called us with a better offer. That's when we came back and bought the car. Our overall experience was great. We really like the sorento and feel that we got a good price on the vehicle. We will definitely recommend this dealership to our friends. More
