I had a great experience. I was real impressed with the warranty. The price was great too. I feel that in the near future will take the place of honda as being the next standard in reliability. My Mom and Dad purchased a used 2004 Ford Explorer for me because I totalled my car due to a blow out one week ago. This was a very traumatic event for me. I drove the used 2004 Ford explore home. As I was d because I totalled my car due to a blow out one week ago. This was a very traumatic event for me. I drove the used 2004 Ford explore home. As I was driving home from the dealership, the car downshifted, lost power, and staeted gliding. There was a tractor and trailer behind me on HWY 369. I had to pull off the road to keep from being hit. My parents and I test drove the car more then once. We asked the dealership to check the front end, and they said they did. My dad took the car to a mechanic and the mechanic said the front and rear wheel bearings were shot, the transmission is going out, and the sensor for the gas pedal is going out. Five hours after we had purchased the car, my Dad carried the car back to the dealership, and asked them to fix the car or give him his money back. They said that it was not their responsibility to fix the car or to advise us that there was anything wrong with that vehicle. We under stand AS IS WARRANTY, but when you sell a death trap, and the people that purchased it comes back witin five hours and there is nothing that the dealership can do for you is a little ridiculous. We have tried to teach our kids to be honest and fair to people and no one at the dealership seems to understand this concept and doesnt seem to care who they kill, its all about the almighty After rating the dealership on Wednesday, Robert contacted us on Friday and said we could come back to the dealership and they would work with us and "make things right". We went back to the dealership on friday to look and test drive other vehicles. The Internet price of the Ford when we purchased it was 9,*** therefore, we were looking at other vehicles with a internet price of 9,***. They offered us an even swap for a vehicle that was list at 7,*** but no money back. We ended up getting another vehicle that was a year old, cloth seats, 20,000 more miles, and not fully loaded for an additional 2,600 dollars. They did allow us to take the vehicle home for the weekend so we could have it checked out before making anything final. We do appreciate them for letting us do that, but their idea of making things right SUCKS in my opinion. We did take this vehicle because we just wanted to be done. By the way.... they put the used 2004 Ford Explorer back on the internet for sell the same day we returned it to them for 10,*** More
After purchasing a Ford Fusion last year, I was very unhappy with it so decided to "bite the bullet" and look for another car. My husband and I made several stops at different dealerships along Brown B unhappy with it so decided to "bite the bullet" and look for another car. My husband and I made several stops at different dealerships along Brown Bridge Rd and were immediately impressed with the Kia dealership. Our salesman, Robert, was very outgoing and professional and did a "GREAT" sales job! He showed us every vehicle of interest that we mentioned. Tony was very pleasant and went over all the "bells and whistles" of the vehicle. I had wanted a small SUV and was very interested in the Kia Soul after Robert let me take it for a test drive. I love the way it handles and its funky retro design. The rest of the story is history...I am now a proud owner!! More
My wife and I came in to Carriage Kia to look for a used car for my commute to work. We were immediately greeted as we stepped out of our car by a sales associate and we talked to him about what we wanted. car for my commute to work. We were immediately greeted as we stepped out of our car by a sales associate and we talked to him about what we wanted. He was very helpful and in answering his questions we were able to get a new Kia for the same money as a used car with a great warranty and no miles. The customer service was very high and we felt very little pressure to purchase a car that day. We did not intend to purchase that day but due to the price, customer service, and the willingness to please my family and I we did buy a 2010 Kia Optima and couldn't be more pleased. More
We were new car shopping. From the time we pulled up to the dealership, through the end to the delivery of our new KIA Sorento, the experience was PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT!!!! Our salesman Chuck Mjolsnes the dealership, through the end to the delivery of our new KIA Sorento, the experience was PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT!!!! Our salesman Chuck Mjolsness was fun to shop with and was extremely knowledgeable about the different models and options. Discussing the financial issues with Tim Rutherford was like meeting up with an old friend. It was light and fun conversation. When we returned to get our new car we met with Tony Valdez and he went over every inch of the car with us explaining all the gadgets. First time ever that anyone has delivered a car the way he did. Very much appreciated. All in all, we would recommend ANYONE to see Carriage KIA of Gainesville for their next car. WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE TOTAL EXPERIENCE OF PURCHASING OUR NEW CAR!!!! Next time we are in Gainesville we will stop by just to say hi. More
My name is Danny Collazo and I am from Cumming, GA. On November 13th, 2010, my wife and I were interested in purchasing a 2011 Kia Sorento. During our visit, there was an event going on for a local radio November 13th, 2010, my wife and I were interested in purchasing a 2011 Kia Sorento. During our visit, there was an event going on for a local radio station. We almost turned around and left because of all the people but im glad we did not. We were introduced to Rusty Sandberg. We consider ourselves good judges of characters. I have always had a reluctant and negative attitude toward car salesmen. That all changed when we met Rusty. He was by far the nicest, upfront and down to earth salesman I have ever met. Through the whole process, he had nothing but the fullest attention to detail and dedication for our car deal. He introduced us to all the members of the Carriage Kia staff as well as the General Mangager who was a super nice guy and personally thanked us for our business. We felt extremely comfortable having Rusty as our guy. Through the entire deal, for which at sometimes I was in a slight panic, Rusty explained everything down to the last detail ensuring we understood every aspect before signing anything, and I do mean anything. He was nothing at all like the stereotype salesmen that walk up to you like a vulture, ask you a million questions, throws some off the wall numbers deal at you, takes your keys and doesn't give them back type of person. He just said hi im Rusty, what can I do for you and here is my card if you need help or have any questions. I was in shock. I even asked him when he walked away, "What? No sales pitch, no pestering us or following us around like salesmen do at a furniture store? He responds to me and says, "Sir. That's not how I do business and neither does this Carriage Kia dealership. After looking around at the various Sorento's in the lot, we met with Rusty and worked on the deal. I was trading in my vehicle and they gave me a fair deal with no gimmicks. I explained to him what I wanted, what I could afford and what I did not want and he satisfied all those requests exactly how I asked them to be. Through all the paperwork, he read word for word what we were looking at and signing. I have bought cars in the past and it was just, "Here sign this, sign that and get out". This was the best car buying experience I have ever gone through. The test drive was extremely pleasant too. It was like we knew the guy and we were just having plain old conversation about whatever came about. The biggest pet peeve I have about a car salesmen is how knowledgeable they really are when it comes to selling a car. I have always had the experience when all they know about a car im trying to buy is what is written on the window sticker. People like that should sell pet rocks, not cars. That irritates me more than anything. Rusty was nothing of the sort. He explained every aspect of the Sorento's features. He knew of engine horsepower, electronics, body construction, features and everything else. He gave us quite the history lesson on the brand as well. By the end of the sale, I knew everything there was to know about him, the dealer, the car and of course our deal. There were no false promises, no surprises and no rise of blood pressure during our visit. This was awesome too! I felt like I was buying a luxury car because of what happened after the deal was done. Rusty made sure we knew about everything on the car before we left. After our deal was done, Tony Valdez, another great sales associate, took us out the the car and did a "delivery". Man I was astonished, what kinda of a dealer does that unless you are buying luxury. Apparently they do. Tony was busy and told us that, yet he still made the time to show us the car in full. Along with Rusty, Tony explained everything front to back. There were a few things I did not know about and he put it out there first hand and made sure we were good to go. We were very happy to have him do that for us. I know its a dealer requirement, but he made it personal, and we liked it. All in all, we got a great car, a great price and outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend the Carriage Kia dealership in Gainsville, GA to anyone wanting to purchase a Kia. In my experience, I would do nothing of the sort, but in this case, I cant think of a single negative thing to say. Im sure all the sales associates are great people, but Rusty is definitely the guy to talk to. Thanks again Rusty, Tony and Carriage Kia. We hope to return soon and buy another car from you again......... More
My wife and I have a new addition on the way along with our five year old and were in the market for a new van. After comparing price and warranty from the other dealerships, we were greeted by Chuck who s our five year old and were in the market for a new van. After comparing price and warranty from the other dealerships, we were greeted by Chuck who sold us on a Kia Sedona. We didn't plan on buying a van that day but we are glad we did because we couldn't be happier. Everyone greeted us with open arms and Chuck made the whole process easy for first time buyers. My wife and I are looking forward to our continued relationship with Chuck, Laura, and Carriage Kia. More
