We decided to get the 2011 Kia Sportage AWD becasue of the safety rating of the car and because of the look (body style)of the car. The car is made really well and drives great. I love the hill assist feature. Tim Rutherford, the General Sales Manager, was very knowledgeable and effective in communicating with us throughout the sales process also. He seemed fair in negotiating a final deal for the purchase of our 2009 Kia Optima. The Carriage dealership in Gainesville, Ga utilizes a process whereby the salesperson goes from start to finish with the buyer, including the financial segment of the buying process. I saw the billboard for Carriage Kia while at another dealership. I was not getting anywhere with that dealer, so I went to Carriage Kia and met Rusty Sandberg. I initially told him I was just looking and he allowed me to view different vehicles on the lot and was avaiable to answer questions when I decided on vehicle I wanted more information on. He was very patient during the entire process and made every effort to assure questions were answered and helpful in arriving at a final agreed upon price. You hear a lot about dealers that use very high pressure sales techniques. Rusty was very patient and listened to my concerns and worked with me until we had an agreement. Will definitely come back when time for my next vehiclel purchages. More
I came to Carriage Kia to look at the Kia Soul, but I fell in love with the new 2011 Kia Forte Hatchback in the showroom. Once the friendly staff saw that I was admiring the sporty good looks of the new hatchback design, everyone worked together to maneuver a few cars out of the showroom, simply so that I could take a test drive. Upon driving the car, I was very impressed with it's performance, especially it's handling around turns. Once I returned from the test drive, I really felt as if the car was already mine. The "bells and whistles" in the car were more than I needed, but the push-button start and navigation have proved to be more convenient than I could have imagined. Stephanie, my saleswoman, worked really hard with the finance department to ensure my payment was under my budget. I got an incredible deal from the start, without any of the back-and-forth games or blatant dishonesty that I have encountered at every other car dealership I have ever been to. I have purchased many cars in my day, and I can sincerely say that Stephanie, and all of the staff at Carriage Kia, have exceeded any expectations I had, and have frankly set the bar for the way a car buying experience should be. I have already recommended some friends and co-workers to Carriage - it is definitely worth the drive! More
My husband and I visited Carriage Kia looking for a very specific 2011 used Kia Sorento. We were actually on our way to the Mall of Ga because we had found one online we were interested in looking at. Immed specific 2011 used Kia Sorento. Immediately after arriving Tim Ingle approached us and we told him specifically what we were looking for. He offered to show us the same car new so we could make sure it was definitely what we wanted. We instantly fell in love with the Sorento and after learning all of the advantages in buying a new vehicle we were sold. Tim and all of the staff at Carriage Kia went above and beyond the call of duty to insure we had the best car for the best price possible. Tim was extremely upbeat and non-pushy. I would highly recommend Tim and Carriage Kia any day. More
We took several months to make our decision to purchase a Kia Sorento. With a second baby on the way (and all the gear that goes along with parenthood x 2!) we knew we needed something larger and more family Kia Sorento. With a second baby on the way (and all the gear that goes along with parenthood x 2!) we knew we needed something larger and more family friendly, but this Mommy had a major aversion to driving a mini-van! (Not yet!) :) My husband did a significant amount of online research and decided that a Sorento would best meet the needs of our growing family. And I appreciated the aesthetics that the Sorento provided, along with the obvious increased cargo room. A friend who works with a variety of local dealerships as part of his profession recommended Carriage Kia to us, so we went to Carriage and met with Laura initially. She was very helpful and patient with our questions and certainly never pressured us into making a decision before we were ready. Over the next 3-4 weeks we took a couple of test drives, thought things over at home and with the folks at Carriage, and ultimately decided that the time had come for us to "sign on the dotted line" and purchase our new vehicle. So, a week ago, we came home with our brand new, beautiful, spacious Sorento, and I have now taken her on a couple of errand-running and grocery buying expeditions so far and am very pleased. There was no pressure, no haggling...just a friendly, simple, straightforward approach to buying the new vehicle we needed! A very positive experience, indeed! More
