My wife wanted a 2012 Kia SOUL and was very specific about what she wanted. I spent several weeks contacting dealers in my local area (Knoxville TN) and down in Georgia. Prior to visiting Carriage Kia, I had a great deal of interaction via e-mail and telephone - all very informative and helpful. When I visited the first time, the Optima I had discussed with Tim Ingle wa interaction via e-mail and telephone - all very informative and helpful. When I visited the first time, the Optima I had discussed with Tim Ingle was pulled to the front of the lot and ready for my test drive. At all times, Tim and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the car and the financing options - and very open to find a mutually agreeable price for the Optima. While signing the paperwork, Jeremy Smith showed my wife and (tech savvy!) kids the features of the car and helped to setup the bluetooth functions. Even though we arrived at the dealership late in the day and the purchase wasn't completed until after closing-time, we never felt rushed or treated as a burden to those that helped close the purchase and prepare the Optima for my drive home. Fortunately, the overall experience was pleasant - something I hadn't expected when I started looking for a new car! More
This experience started when I took my 2004 Optima in for service. My car was fixed in a timely manner but I wasn't able to pick it up until the next day. When I went to pick it up, it had been hit in the pa service. My car was fixed in a timely manner but I wasn't able to pick it up until the next day. When I went to pick it up, it had been hit in the parking lot of the dealer buy a hit and run driver. The dealership was very apologetic and was going to give me a rental until my car was fixed. One of the sales consultants got them to let me use a new 2011 Optima which I was interested in when I brought my car in for service. To make a long story short, my car that I brought in for service turned out to be totaled, Carriage Kia gave me a great deal on a new 2012 Optima and I couldn't be happier. More
This is my third Kia that i have purchased.I purchased 2 cars from this dealer and I am very happy with Orlando and the quality of the staff at the service dept. After some time to think about my experience at Carriage Kia, I have given a "good" instead of excellent in my overall experience. There were times in the negotiations, that I thought that the shuffling o Kia, I have given a "good" instead of excellent in my overall experience. There were times in the negotiations, that I thought that the shuffling of papers and offers back and forth to the owner (or manager) was confusing. I believe this is standard in new auto sales negotiatiions and Carriage Kia is no different from any other in this regard. I think that Carriage Kia would be a better dealership if it would work on negotation satisfaction. I did not leave confident that my "deal" was a win-win. My salesman, Greg Simpson, was pleasant to work with and none of this is directed towards him. More
