Never in my 30 years and 15 plus cars have a met such a bunch of clowns, lied about almost everything, called it a CPO vehicle, but 2 tires were about 15 lbs of air pressure low each, the washer fluid was bunch of clowns, lied about almost everything, called it a CPO vehicle, but 2 tires were about 15 lbs of air pressure low each, the washer fluid was completely out of fluid when I need to use the wipers the next day, I could go on and on with more problems, but you get my drift I am sure, would have walked out, but being they were selling the vehicle 3,000.00 less than the next comparable used vehicle, I put up with their ineptness and lies. The following is my recent experience at Jim Shorkey Kia service department: After my car’s engine shut down 6 times, being stranded twice, 2 flatbed tows, 3 visits to the service department and 11 days service department: After my car’s engine shut down 6 times, being stranded twice, 2 flatbed tows, 3 visits to the service department and 11 days at the dealer I finally have my car back with an “I think we have it fixed”. Please be careful taking your car to Jim Shorkey Kia service department. My Kia Soul stalled intermittently. The first time in they said could not replicate the problem so they did nothing. The second time in I was told it was the crank sensor and should not have any more problems. Less than 36 hours later it stalled again and it had to be towed to the dealership again. I was told it was the start stop battery, not the main battery. When I asked questions the service advisor was not happy to help. I asked to speak to a tech that worked on my car and was told it was not possible, so I asked to speak to the service manager and was told he was not in his office, but another advisor said he called him and he was on the way. After speaking to the manager I found out that there is only 1 battery which sometimes is called a stop start battery because of the gas saving feature. The manager informed me that the crank sensor was replaced in the second visit because of the “clues” they had (what I told them was happening) not because of a diagnostic test. They have two different machines they hook up to your car for diagnostic testing and he admitted 1 of the machines was not working properly. On the third visit they replaced the battery after one of the machines indicated a bad cell. Both advisors on the last two visits said they were able to replicate the problem (the car died on them). I asked the manager if they ever got my car to replicate the problem and he said “no.” If you bring your car there, make sure you ask questions multiple times and do research to verify that the information you are given is correct. You might also want to get a second opinion before beginning work. I have my car back, but I’m scared to drive it. Jackie K. More
We have bought several Kia’s starting when Carriage Kia a the last being a 23 Stinger GT 2 with the 10 year service plan. Since Mike has left from the dealership there has been 2 general managers and we have the last being a 23 Stinger GT 2 with the 10 year service plan. Since Mike has left from the dealership there has been 2 general managers and we have been having an issue getting the dark chrome trim replaced due to the trim fading and turning white. I have carried the car to the service department 3 times. The first time a young lady took photos of the issue then a month later I carried it back and a service rep.names PJ told me that there was not such thing a a ten year bumped to bumper 10 year service plan and while doing so he was a smart xxx and very disrespectful to me and my wife. So another 3 weeks later I carried it to the temp dealership and explained the issue to the second new general manager and we went to the service department and discussed this issue for the third time with the new service manager and we were assured that the problem would be taken care of promptly. Now another 3 to 4 weeks later and still no resolution. This problem with the chrome is a known issue to Kia.Rest assured that we will not due business with the Shorkey family dealer ships any longer. This issue would have been taken care of long ago if Mike was still the GM and we will do business with Mike regardless of who he works for, so I hope that he find a company who appreciates him as much as him former customers. I will be posting this to social media because we have been ignored we feel and this problem should have already been resolved. Ok family and friends will only recommend doing business with Mike regardless of where he’s at More

All I want is my car fixed and they would never see me again because I would never buy another car here. They saidnthey inspected it and drove it. It is a funny thing to me he didn't feel the tranmission slipping because I get in it and ever day within 5 mins it's jumping and hopping. And I'm fixing to put the 3rd quart of oil in it and haven't been driving it a month. I guess I'm going to have to get a lawyer. This is ridiculous. Stay away from this place. Rip off. More

Saw a car online posted for x amount, negotiated a price and had a scheduled pickup day. Noticed they changed the price online $500 less, asked about renegotiating with the new price. Dealership said it has and had a scheduled pickup day. Noticed they changed the price online $500 less, asked about renegotiating with the new price. Dealership said it has been pulled for repairs a new grill and bumper. CarFax shows no damage history. Talk to them via email and they told me the car was available today for pickup of course I used a different name. This dealership lies to try and increase their profit. I wonder how the Jim Shorkey family would feel, knowing one of their 15 locations was doing this to customers. I guess they're 97 million in Revenue last year makes lying to people okay. Do not buy anything from this dealership! By law in the state of Georgia nothing can be added to the online posted price other than governmental fees. This dealership charges $800 documentation fee, $200 electronic title fee, a $18 title fee, etc. Do your homework before ever buying a car. But do not ever buy one from a Jim Shorkey dealership. I have email proof. More
