I purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport on 02/23/22. I have to admit I made the mistake of not paying attention and checking the vehicle and paperwork out. This was very unwise. I thought this was a reputable dealership with honesty and integrity. I was wrong. As of June 9, 2023, the engine ceased. I reach out to Hyundai who denied the replacement of the engine stating poor maintenance. As it turned out, Jim Riehl bought the car from Enterprise car rental knowing it had recalls and that the engine would cease. I recently received a call from this dealership after complaining to the world in which I am far from done doing so. The salesman said are you able to come in today with your paperwork? I made it for another day because I could not make it. I called before going and aske what are they going to do and he stated that they were going after the warranty company. This is the same company that they sold to me for $3,000 stressing it would be good to buy in case the engine went out. Well, they denied me as well knowing that they both knew about this car and engine. Riehl had the nerve to tell a lie in the response saying that they stressed to the customer about the maintenance of the car. Now I am still stuck with this car note and no car. Shame on you. I took my Jeep Wrangler in for an oil change. I pulled in and was greeted by a service writer rather quickly. They got me in and out and off to work in less than an hour. Neal Leader was great. He showed me the inspection report and that things looked good. They even ran my vehicle through the wash which was a bonus touch. More
