Poor quality of work and service I was burned once by Jim Norton Toyota and I only went back because I knew they were the only ones who would take my trade in, a RAV-4 they'd sold me I was burned once by Jim Norton Toyota and I only went back because I knew they were the only ones who would take my trade in, a RAV-4 they'd sold me just a year earlier whose engine was burning oil and needed replaced. They sold me the Tundra a little over a month ago, which I love, but it shook like a xxxx going down the road, so I took it to their service department because I had a three month warranty on repairs. They promised me that they fixed it by balancing the tires. I went out of town for work the next day and it almost seemed worse! So I took it to my mechanic at Hercules Tire and they said they did a really bad job balancing it, saying the weights on the balance were sloppy and the balance on the tires was really off. Because Hercuoes Tire is awesome, they balanced it for free. I would have just taken it to Hercules Tire in the first place, but I was just curious to see if their service department was as dishonest as the salesman I dealt with when I bought the Rav. They lost me for life as a customer. I won't go there for service anymore or buy another vehicle from them. More

All about them $ Been to this place two times to fix different things on my vehicle. Those two times I've been twice each, making the visit four times. The service was good but the way they seem to go about things is all about your $$. Costed me three times as much just to get air conditioning and a squeaky noise fixed because I was told that fixing this "other thing" would solve the squeaky noise..but it didn't. Was pretty upset. David Holmes is awesome! I have been using the service department and working with David Holmes, specifically since 2006. David always does an excellent job of being upfront and honest about what needs to be done to my vehicle. I am on my third 4Runner and my second one a 2006, is still in the family with over 230,000 miles on it and still running like a champ. I know without a doubt, that the reason I have had such great luck with my 4Runners is because I do all of the required maintenance and I do it at Jim Norton Toyota with David Holmes as my Service Advisor. SO frustrating! I? hit a curb. It took 6 trips to get repaired. The last time they kept the car for 10 days. Every time I? went they had either failed to order the I? hit a curb. Every time I? went they had either failed to order the right part or there was a new part that was suddenly needed, or the alignment was still out. Until I? threw a fit, I’m sure no one actually drove the car. After they were finally done, I? got a notice in the mail there are axel/differential problems - not something that was every brought up in the 6 visits. When I? wondered what was happening with my car, I? called the service writer; he didn’t call me. I? am sorry I? bought my car there because I? will have to go somewhere else for warranty work. And I? have to figure out if there is now a differential problem and deal with that. More

Get everything off of your existing car that you have added yourself. I went to Jim Norton, had a GREAT experience, did NOT plan on leaving with a new car, but I did. I JUST added a bike hitch to my existing 2015 Highlander and I can't get it back for my 2017 Highlander. So, before you even go to look and possibly leave with a new vehicle, take off anything you have personally added to your vehicle before you go trading it in for an upgrade. Very upset I can't retrieve the feature that I personally added. More
