It was a rip off, I had a warranty plan and they charged the warranty plan for putting new gaskets in and putting plug wires and coils on it. I waited for 3 hours and they told me that it was ready and I co the warranty plan for putting new gaskets in and putting plug wires and coils on it. I waited for 3 hours and they told me that it was ready and I could not find my vehicle. The service man went home and I had to get a secretary to help me find my vehicle which they had parked by the trash dumpster. It was a hot day and they had left my windows open and doors unlocked and there was Grease all over my seats and my hood. My vehicle did not want to start and run very good, and I tried to go back in but they had already locked the doors. It took me over a half an hour to get home and that was only 7 MI as the vehicle kept stopping and shuttering. I called the dealership and left messages and I had opened the hood and looked and they had not even Disturbed any other dirt or grease that was on the screws and bolts to the parts that they would have had to take off. I used to do mechanic work and I recognized that they had not done any of what they said that they did but yet they had charged the warranty company and when they had pulled the wires off to look at the spark plugs they had broke the interior of the wires and so they were not making the sparks plug fire. I called them the next day and told them that I was not happy and that the vehicle ran worse than when I took it there. And they told me that's because that I had not okayed to have over 700 more dollars of work done to it. It didn't need the $700 worth of work done to it it needed done to it what they were supposed to do is replace the plug wires and the coils and that's all that I wanted done they didn't do any of it. I had another mechanic look at it and he wrote a paper and said that no one had touched that motor and they had not even wiped the dust or grease off of it. I tried to contact Jim Norton Management because the service man was being a real jerk and would not talk to me on the phone. The management would not call me back on the phone and I tried for over a week. I ended up having to have it fixed somewhere else and Jim nortman would not cover it and neither would the warranty company cuz they said the work had already been done and it had not been., But the warranty company paid Jim Norton to do work and they had not done anything on it. While I was sitting there in the waiting room there was a lady that brought in an older Toyota and it looked like brand new and she just wanted the tune-up done on the motor and things checked on it. After sitting there for over an hour she was getting a little bit upset and they came and told her that the vehicle was a mess and that it would cost her almost $7,000 to have the work done on her vehicle. She was almost in tears and they let her sit there to think about it she said to me that she knew that the vehicle was in good shape and had always had it service every few months and now they were telling her that it was junk. I told her I saw it when it came in and it looked like brand new and she said that she had always taken good care of it and had bought it brand new. Now she did not have $7,000 to put into it and they told her that she should buy a new one from them and give her a good deal. She said that she thinks they just wanted her vehicle for nothing and then to sell her a new one. I told her it seemed that she should go and have another mechanic check it at a different dealership. She called the service man and told she wanted to drive her vehicle out of there and he told her that it was not even drivable and that it would take another hour and a half to get it drivable.! She was very upset and 10 minutes later they told me the same that it would be 3 hours for me to get my vehicle and that it was not even drivable. I went and asked the mechanic that was working on my vehicle when he went to lunch when my vehicle would be ready, he told me that he was already done with the vehicle. They were charging hourly for it to sit there. I would never higher them!! More
