Great experience overall - sales, finance, service I bought a 2010 Highlander from Jim Norton Toyota and felt great about the purchase - sales to finance, and then their service department for the last I bought a 2010 Highlander from Jim Norton Toyota and felt great about the purchase - sales to finance, and then their service department for the last 5 years. So, when I decided to buy a new 2015 Highlander, I did my research online (Edmunds, NADA, KBB), and checked in with Jim Norton. I was put in touch with Mr. Angel Brito, a salesman, who was very helpful, and most importantly did not waste my time. Twice I asked him to have specific trim level vehicles ready at a certain time, for me to come and drive. He was prepared, very pleasant, not pushy. He stayed in touch with me for several months while I pondered the purchase, but wasn't overbearing. His follow-up was great and in the end, with help from Jeff Yates and final approval from Jerry Hoyt, Jim Norton's dealership got to the price I felt was fair. I had to order the vehicle to get the colors I wanted. Originally I expected 10-12 weeks but it only took about 5 weeks to get it. I worked with Nick Jones in their finance department via phone and e-mail... he got me the best financing rate and a great price on the Toyota extended warranty. Nick was off the day I closed, so Zach Pinney filled in and everything was done as quickly as it can be (still close to an hour, but really, that's pretty darn good). Overall I feel great about the experience. I WOULD recommend this dealer and fully expect to buy form them again in a few years! A+ all the way around, and I already know their service department is terrific. More

The first vehicle was a 2003 Toyota Avalon XLE for my parents. My wife and I had been shopping online to find the best car for them. When I arrived at Jim Norton, I found the car I thought was the best for my parents. The salesman, Wilfred Friday, was extremely helpful and easy to work with. He allowed me to leave my car at the dealership and take the Avalon for the day in order to make sure it met with my approval and to take it to my parents' home. My mother was in poor health and this would allow her to see the car and decide if it would work for her needs. They loved it. We drove it back to the dealership that evening and they purchased the car. My mom insisted on coming in order to test "ride" it. They gave us a fair price and treated my parents like they were buying a new Toyota Avalon. The second vehicle was a 2012 Toyota Yaris for my friend. It was her first time buying a car so she was a little nervous about the process. My wife and I helped her find a great car at a fair price. This time, the salesperson was Alex Simpson. He was great to work with. Zach in finance was also very good to work with as well. When we test drove the car, we had noticed a stain in one of the front seats. Alex took it back to service. By the time she was ready to take it home, the seats had been shampooed again and the stain scrubbed out. They made the entire process a pleasure. The third car is a 2005 Toyota Camry XLE. The experience we had buying this car is at the heart of why I am writing this review. My mother's health had deteriorated to the point of the family deciding to put her in hospice care. The morning after making that decision, my father was driving his beloved 2003 Avalon and totaled it. The next day my mother passed away. In the midst of all the pain and tragedy of losing my mom, the last thing I wanted to do was shop for a car, but we needed to get my dad some transportation. My wife and I once again found some options at Jim Norton. We worked with Alex again. He showed my wife several cars that we thought might be good choices for Dad. The next day(Saturday), we took dad to look at the cars they selected. He really liked the 2005 Camry. We were allowed to drive it even though it was so new to the lot it had not been serviced or cleaned. We told Alex and his manager that we liked it and would like to see it again on Wednesday. We explained that my mother's funeral was on Tuesday and would appreciate if they did not call us until we came back to the dealership. They honored that. I brought Dad back on Wednesday and the car was waiting for him. He was thrilled to see that they had done all the appropriate maintenance (i.e timing belt and water pump) and cleaned it up. Alex had the day off but Josh Evett helped us with the car. We ran out of time on Wednesday to complete the purchase so we needed to come back the following day. Even though Alex had the day off he called me that afternoon anyway. I asked him if he could see if the guys in service could get the stains out of the back seat belt and floor boards. When we arrived on the Thursday, he had done that but also went over the car and touched up some of the paint issues he found. I was floored. I have never seen a salesperson go the extra mile like that. When we went to finance, Josh Casey remembered my dad from the Avalon. I appreciated that he treated my Dad with respect and kindness as he had done before. Outstanding customer service at a very difficult time for my family was especially appreciated. The funny thing is, I have never purchased a car from Jim Norton for myself; however, Jim Norton Toyota is the first place I will look for the next car purchase I make and you can bet Alex Simpson will be the one selling it to me. After searching for vehicles at different dealers, Joel Andreasen at Jim Norton Toyota made it very clear that he wanted to save us money and earn our business. He did just that! I honestly can't express enough positive things about Joel. Just flat out honest, trustworthy and loyal. Car shopping can be frustrating because you just never know if your getting a lemon or if the salesmen are just wanting to make a sale and don't really care about YOU. This is not the case with Joel at all. He went above and beyond and proved to us that he actually cared about our finances as well as making sure he put us in a car that would last us well over the term of our loan. The title of this review is "King of Customer Service" for a reason. Highly recommend Jim Norton, and please for the sake of it all, ask for Joel Andreasen! As far as getting to the finance office, Nick was a ton of help and made the process extremely quick and a breeze. This will be the 3rd car we have purchased from Jim Norton and that is for a reason! This experience with Joel and Nick will seal the deal for future purchases we make. Thanks a ton fellas! More
