He got my car right in and kept his word on getting me back to work and then they brought my car to me when they were done. They did everything the way it was told to me at the first phone call. They even called to see if everything was okay.. My daddy always said a man is no better than his word and both Joe and Kevin are good men and very trust worthy.. I took my car to Jim Glover and the attendant informed me that my plan had expired. I was disappointed, but needed an oil change. They told me the price and I left my vehicle with them. After not hearing back I went back to check three hours later. They had forgotten about my vehicle! The attendant apologized and said they'd do it for free. Fifteen minutes later I was on my way. My 2012 Malibu was in for regular service, oil change, tire rotation, etc. The service rep took good care of this, I received 2 calls that my car was ready for pick up, the loaner car was clean, operate tire rotation, etc. The service rep took good care of this, I received 2 calls that my car was ready for pick up, the loaner car was clean, operated well and my overall was terrific. While driving home one night my car "stalled" and my engine light came on and my light read "Reduced Engine Power". I immediately stopped at an O'Reilly's and had them read the code. They told and my engine light came on and my light read "Reduced Engine Power". I immediately stopped at an O'Reilly's and had them read the code. They told me it was a foot pedal accelarator sensor and when they looked up the part it was a "dealer only" part. He then recommended I take it to a mechanic he knew that could tell me more. I took my car over there and he told me that when you replace that sensor it is better to replace the one under the hood too and gave me an extimate of $1,000.00 or more. Well, since I am a single, self-supporting woman, I couldn't afford that and since when I turned my car off, the code cleared and my car would run fine, I kept driving my car. The "Reduced Engine Power" and engine light would come on sporatically... sometime not for a few days and sometimes every day for awhile. I finally got tired of it happening when I was trying to drive home (to Adair, OK from downtown Tulsa) in Tulsa traffic. It was during one of our ice storms this year, when I called the Chevrolet dealership in Pryor and talked to Jason he said he would have to arrange for me to get a loaner car and for me to call back. I waiting a few days since I wasn't going anywhere in the ice anyway. I called him back and left a voice message. No return call. Several days later, I called again and left a voice message. Still no return phone call. A few weeks later, after work, while on my way home, I couldn't go more than 10 or 15 miles and the "Reduced Engine Power" would come on and I had had enough. I called Jim Glover Service department and Kevin Thames answered the phone. I started with "I've had a really bad day and I'm sorry if I get short wtih you, but please help me." Kevin very calmly asked "What's going on and what can I do to fix it?" So I explained about the "Reduced Engine Power" and calling the other dealership and the no return calls from them and the estimate I had gotten for the repairs and he immediately looked up the part and told me the part was only a little over a hundred dollars. He then told me to drop the car off the next day between 4-7 and he would have a loaner car ready for me. I breathed a sigh of relief.... The next day I dropped my car off and as Kevin promised they had a car waiting on me. When I explained to Kevin that I might put more than the 125 miles daily limit on it since I live 64 miles from work one way, he told me not to worry, he would take care of it. The very next day, before noon, Kevin called and said my car was ready!!! I was amazed at how fast they fixed it. I went over on my lunch hour, turned in the loaner car and picked mine us. That's been almost a week now and my car is driving wonderful and no engine light is on, no "reduced engine power" is happening and I'm a very HAPPY and SATISFIED CUSTOMER! Thank you Jim Glover for hiring Kevin Thames!!!! He is good for your business. I will be back when I need service and I have and will continue to tell everyone about the great, fast and friendly service I received at Jim Glover Service Department. More
