Jared Glover, our sales rep went beyond expectations on our purchase. My wife wanted to buy me a new car for my 50th birthday, as a suprise. Jared set up with her that he would bring three different mode our purchase. My wife wanted to buy me a new car for my 50th birthday, as a suprise. Jared set up with her that he would bring three different models to our home, on my birthday and I would choose the one I wanted. A special edition was announced for this car to come out very soon. I mentioned this to my wife. It was a 2012 model and this was August Information was not even available on the Chevy web site. Jared dug in did research and found they would start production the Monday after my birthday. He got on the phone and made an order for the car. He then printed pics of the proto types of the special edition and showed up on my birthday, as a complete suprise to present what my wife had ordered. The car began production the following Monday and Jared contacted my wife daily with the status of the order. When it arrived at the dealer he immediately sent her a photo of my car being unloaded off the transport and began detailing the car for delivery. I picked up the car one hour later. Everyone at the dealership made a big deal about the car and the way my wife did this. It made the whole experience special. More

When my wife and I decided to trade in our vehicle, I honestly believed the chances of being able to do that because of the negative equity we were carrying on our Kia, were next to impossible. We tried to get the deal done with minimal down payment, and at a payment we could handle, but to no avail. I had pretty much put the thought of trading out aside, yet less than a week later Ben called again. He told me that he had researched and worked on the deal all week, because he believed there was a car deal in there somewhere. Ben was right. Not only were we able to trade out of our Kia, but we got into a brand new 2011 Malibu LT, fully loaded with only 2000 down, at a very good payment! Thanks to his persistence the deal was finalized today! The Malibu absorbed much of the negative equity we had been carrying two cars ago. On June 13th, we received a call from Benji Glover in answer to a credit application and vechile inquiry we had submitted through the internet. We were looking for a compact truck, four door, 4x4. We went down that very afternoon and were happy and excited to find a beautiful 2005 Chevy Colorado, I fell in love with it. We test drove it and found it to have an engine miss and the engine light was staying on, however we were assured the truck had gone through a complete check and inspection and that it was probably something simple and would be fixed. we agreed on financing and on payments we could afford and left happy and confident that we were going to have an awesome truck. This would be the last time we were happy at JIm Glover Cheverolet!!! June 15th, got the call from the service department truck was ready, "no more engine light", the engine miss was gone! June 16th, drove the truck to and from work approx. 40 miles engine light back on returned truck to service department on June 17th. between June 17th and June 23rd made several calls to inquire about process on truck received no return calls only the one from the service department on the 23rd saying truck was done! June 24th got in truck to drive to work it had a squeal now that it did not have before. Called service departmant, was told maybe some antifreeze from repairs they had down had gotten on the belt which could cause the noise, was told to drive for the day if it continued bring it back on monday because he didn"t have anymore loaner cars. (friday) June 25th called service again to explain that squeal had not gone away and the engine light had returned and that the truck had now started shifting itself into 4 wheel high without being prompted. We were told again there was no loaner avialiable and to drive the truck until Monday and bring back in. So we continued to use the truck that day that afternnon with my 3 year old grandson in the truck it totally lost power and died!!!! we were able to finally get it back to my driveway were it stayed dead for the remainder of the weekend!!!! Monday June 27th, found transportation part way to Jim Glover and walked the remaining way to the dealers to tell them to go tow their "xxxx" truck out of my yard!!! I also at this time stated I was not happy that I had not heard back from my sales person since the day I bought the truck!!! At this time they introduced me to "James" the sales manager with internet sales. When I told him what had been going on he told me Benji Glover the person who and sold me the truck and then totally forgotten about me would be removed from my sale and James himself would handle it!! I was told they would not sell me a truck that was not running and if the Colorado could not be fixed to my satisfaction they would find me another truck to "my liking" "I would not have to settle" !!!!!!!! Between June 28th and June 30th I left messages for James and received no return calls. On the 30th I got a call from the finance company wanting to finalize the loan I explained the situation and was adviced not to continue until I had in writting that they would be willing to replace the Colorado with something else to my liking!!! I immediately called James to find out if I indeed was getting the Colorado or what!!! It had been 4 days since I had again returned the truck and 17 days since I had purchased a truck that I still did not have!! JAMES said he had been out of town and did not know anything about the truck. He would go check and call me back ( this was around noon) I tryed calling back around 3:15 the receptionist said he did not answer the page I left a message NO RETURN CALL!!! I HEARD NOTHING FROM JUNE30TH TO JULY 11TH !!!!! ON JULY 11TH, I called and asked for the general manager I left a message on his voice mail (Billy Caterton) I have still never heard from that man!!! I then called Chevy District specialist department and explained what was going on and opened a case with them. Davon with Chevy contacted James and was told he would get with sales manger and get back with him, he did not call Davon back that day so Davon said if he would call me back by 3pm the next day!! July 12th, James called Davon admitted to lack of communication and that he was having trouble finding a truck to match the Colorado criteria we did a conference call and set up an appointment for 5:30 the next evening to discuss what he could come up with for alternatives!! July 13th, ONE MONTH from the time I purchased the truck I get a call, not from James but from the service manger telling me my truck is repaired and ready to go!!!! We go that evening first to the service department the manager there apologizes and explains that he was told they were selling us something else so dont worry about the Colorado!!! He thought we had bought something else, he was not aware we had been driving a loaner for a month!!!! We then go see James who says at this time Jim Glover has decided "Not" to sell us the Colorado!!! However he had nothing with the same criteria to show us so he gets us in a truck and drives us around showing us Trucks not at all to what we want. Some of them still had the trash in them from the previous owners!!!! He is showing us FULLSIZE, 2 & 4 DOOR, NON 4X4 trucks!!! and telling us to pick one!!!!! well what are we to do so we pick three possibilities and ask him to get the particulars on them he says okay I will call you tomorrow!!! July 14th, waited all day for call James calls about 4:30 asking are we still planning on coming in at 5:30pm we ask for what he say" so I can get you in one of those trucks" we say did you get info he says NO!!! we say we will be in tomorrow, he says okay see you tomorrow evening!!! we call back saying we will see you tomorrow at noon!!!!! July 15th, at noon we went there expecting to have information on options, instead James tries to sell us a new Colorado, not 4x4 with higher payments then we can afford and still has no info on the used trucks he had previously showed us!!! At this time we are also told they can no longer let us use the loaner and a decision needed to be made today!!! Talk about pressure!!! We opted to get our deposit back and went next door to the Nissan dealer and within 3 hours we had a new truck costing thousands less then a Colorado and with payments and an interest rate we could live with far below Jim Glover !!! Well the story goes that I went to another Chevy dealer in the area andI was not impressed with their customer service attitude during the price haggling, so I left a bit discouraged.Then I remembered an a in the area andI was not impressed with their customer service attitude during the price haggling, so I left a bit discouraged.Then I remembered an advertisement for Jim Glover Chevrolet that I had saw on the TV about a big 4th of July blow-out with fun for the kids and other incentives. so, I drove about 15 more miles away from the other dealer and ended up in the Jim Glover car lot. I was greeted imediately by a salesperson before I even got out of my vehicle. I explained what I was looking for and Mr. Jared Glover showed me what they had available that day 1st by showing me the up front stock, then we got inside one of the ones I liked and went on a test drive. Mr. Glover explained to me about the ECO-Cruze and all its features. Then I was still no sure about the color I wanted, so he had me drive through the parking lot to see the other cars that were brought in that past evening and even drove through the back of the service area to see if any other vehicles had been moved back there. He stated that he could only make a deal with the current stock he had that day. So, I decided the car that I test drove was the one I wanted. It did not take long for the pricing to be determined between my trade and the Cruze I wanted. I enjoyed the festivities that they had going on and everyone was friendly and respectfull. I appreciate this experience and will seek them again when I am ready to buy another vehicle in the future. I also would refer anyone I know to check them out if they were interested in a new car! I traded in a 2008 Trailblazer, for a Chevy Colorado. It had a miss in the engine, but having a good amount of car knowledge I knew this was nothing serious and they said they would fix it and give me a cal had a miss in the engine, but having a good amount of car knowledge I knew this was nothing serious and they said they would fix it and give me a call. Well when I returned to get it the check engine light came on and it still had a miss. I drove an hour and half to come there and this was a huge waste of time. I told them that I no longer felt comfortable with the deal and wanted something else or my Blazer back. Well they had nothing else I really wanted but refused to give me back my Blazer. So I was forced to pick something which I did, a 2010 T&C minivan. About three weeks later I received an email that the payment on my blazer was due. I notified Jim Glover via facebook and asked when it would be paid off. Jared said he would take care of it. Well the next day my husband received a call from LeAnne saying that WE HAD to make the payment. That they had sold our blazer at an auction and had not been paid yet and that it was our responsibility. I posted on Jim Glover's facebook page that this was not okay and I wanted to know how they could sell a car they don't even own, since it still had a lien on it. They removed all posts with in minutes and blocked my ability to post on their page. I then spoke to numerous people. Including Wells Fargo whom I had my loan with for the blazer. They advised me to get a lawyer since they did not see how Jim Glover could sell my car since they gad yet to pay for it themselves. After talking to a few different people, the dealership said they had our blazer in the back ready for delivery to the purchaser (so they had sold it but yet to deliver it).I told them I had been advised to get a lawyer, they then said we could have our blazer back. When we got there to make the swap they offered us $825 cash plus gas money plus no payment for 60 days if we would keep the van and be happy. But we refused all their offers and took our Trailblazer back and will NEVER do business with a company like that again. We have great credit and their monetary offer was not what we wanted. We just wanted to uphold their end of the deal which they did not do once in our dealings with them. Motto should be "Dad won't do it and Jared can't either." For real this was a horrible experience.
