Jake answered all of my questions throughly and even made himself avalible to answer questions after the sale was finalized. Took my used 2010 Ford Focus in for an oil changed, they found a minor oil leak anbd took care of it. Jason Crapps handled the paper work, keep me informed with what the mechanic was doing. Jake Gonzales was polite, courteous, very helpful and patient. My purchase at Jim Hudson was my 1st purchase of a car ever. I was very excited and ended up purchasing a 2006 Ford Escape from them in May 2011. Within the first 2 weeks of my purchase my vehicle began s ever. I was very excited and ended up purchasing a 2006 Ford Escape from them in May 2011. Within the first 2 weeks of my purchase my vehicle began stalling out whenever I would stop. I took it in the shop and they had it for hours and then finally called saying there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. I had to pick the car up since it is my only transportation hoping the problem would not happen again. Well, it did. I took it to their service center multiple times and they would keep my car for days and then tell me there was nothing wrong. I told them it might be the idle valve (after talking to a friend) and so they just fixed it. The issue was still ongoing and after taking it in for service one time after the "fix" and them keeping it for almost a week and doing NOTHING I gave up. I just dealt with the issue of my car cutting off at stop lights and stops signs and then hoping my car would not cut off one time and a car hit me. Well, 2 weeks ago the problem began getting even worse. After the car would cut off and I tried to shift into drive or reverse it would just cut right off again. I would have to put the car in nuetral and slam on the brake and drive for it to start up. My father contacted Jim Hudson and they told us to come in and they would talk to us. Well, the day I went to speak with them my transmission failed. How convenient. I was stranded on the side of the interstate for almost 2 hours. We were hoping Jim Hudson would help us and work something out. Maybe fix the car, since they didn't from the beginning, and they sold me a lemon. Or let me trade the car in for another one. But they did NOTHING! Do not buy a vehicle from this dealer because they will sell you lemons and then say sorry you bought it, figure it out on your own. I have no idea what I am going to do now, but I will never buy a Ford or car from this dealer again. I am terrified to purchase any vehicle again. Thank you for the terrible experience Jim Hudson. purchased mercedes clk. had to have car towed twice in first two wks of ownership. changed batt. twice. could not diagnose problem. dlrship did not stand behind car, was not treated fairly on trade of me first two wks of ownership. changed batt. twice. could not diagnose problem. dlrship did not stand behind car, was not treated fairly on trade of mercedes. purchased new ford rngr from dlrship. had rebate money to offset negative equity. veh did not live up to standard. received phone call from hyundai dlr (mgr.henry adams)_after answering survey. he wanted to helped solve problem w/o me talking to Mr. Hudson. he promised that I would be satisfied with solution. he said he would call back, never did. i called him, no return ph. call. typical car salesman bs. Jim Hudson is all about max profit on every deal. they cant help themselves. sales people (paul laruso) does not know product. Had to inform him of veh incentives. dlrship puts these people on the flr w/o proper training. would be very surprised if i receive ph. call from Mr. Hudson. More
I am a Ford man. My last five purchases have been Ford trucks or cars all from different dealerships. My experiences with all of them have been like going to the dentist for a root canal - very unpleasan trucks or cars all from different dealerships. When I knew I was going to purchase a truck I decided to give Jim Hudson Ford a try. My wife and I had tried this dealership when it was Ben Satcher Ford with no success. Needless to say, we were not looking forward to the experience. However,we did want to buy local so we gave it a shot. Jake Gonzales was our salesman. He was very helpful in finding a truck in my price range with the features that I wanted. He was helpful without being pushy which is one thing I really appreciated. Jeff Joseph was equally helpful in explaining the extended warranty and the importance of it. We don't usually purchase the extended warranty. This time we're grateful that we did. I would rate my overall experience as excellent. I will definitely buy my next vehicle from Jim Hudson Ford - my wife has her eye on the Taurus!! Steve Mejia More
