Found a car on autotrader, got in contact with a sales person at Jim Hudson Ford, made sure the car was available for the price I saw online, and proceeded to drive 3 hours to the dealership. I had an app person at Jim Hudson Ford, made sure the car was available for the price I saw online, and proceeded to drive 3 hours to the dealership. I had an appointment to see this car that I had already confirmed to price on, and they marked it up $15,000. The manager came to speak to us and laughed as we described our frustration. I have now researched the dealership more to see this has happened to many people. Absolutely disgusting, and these automated responses to negative reviews makes them even worse. More
Be aware of sales practices. My wife and daughter drove over 150 miles after setting an appointment, confirming availability and price. When they arrived and test drove the vehicle they were informed that the real price was over 35% higher than stated price on the Auto Trader website. They cost my family time and money because I assume this is their way of getting people in the door. If this is one of their games, what else are they willing to do? Very unprofessional. I hope this saves others from frustration and costs. The manager actually laughed at my family when he realized they wouldn’t pay the “new price”.
