Jim Glover Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Fiat

This was the worst car buying experience I've ever had. This was the seventh car I've bought, the first one I've bought from Jim Glover, and the last one I'll ever buy from Jim Glover. It took us six hours This was the seventh car I've bought, the first one I've bought from Jim Glover, and the last one I'll ever buy from Jim Glover. It took us six hours to buy this car. SIX HOURS! We spent about 20 minutes on a test drive and about a half hour at lunch because by 1:30pm we were starving, frustrated, and exhausted, and our car still wasn't ready (we arrived at the dealer at 8:30am). We spent the other roughly four hours standing around waiting. I have no idea what we were waiting for; we paid cash, so there was no credit check and minimal paperwork. Our sales rep kept disappearing with the promise of "being right back", but we wouldn't see him again for a half hour or more. I have no idea what he was doing, and I really don't think he knew what he was doing either. He didn't point out any features of the car; if fact, the only thing he said about the car at all was to ask if we wanted to buy it. There were several red flags that made us question this dealership as well. The first red flag was when they brought us the keys to a car "just like" the one we asked to test drive. We did not drive the one they wanted us to drive; we sent them back inside to find the keys to the car we wanted. A half hour later, they finally came back with the correct keys. The second red flag was when they asked me to sign a blank review form for my sales rep's performance. They didn't want me to fill out the ratings; they just wanted me to sign it. Very sketchy. The third red flag was when the paperwork showed up with the VIN for the car that was "just like" the one we wanted, the one that the sales man had wanted us to drive, not the VIN for the car we had requested from the get go and had test driven. If I had not already done my research and known that this was the only car in the color and trim package that I wanted within 100 miles of my house, I would have walked out. The entire experience was unprofessional, unorganized, and unwelcoming. Also, there are no Covid precautions being taken at this dealership. The staff were mostly not wearing masks (I'd say 80/20 not wearing/wearing), the tables in the waiting room were sticky and clearly had not been wiped down in quite a while, and my husband reported that the men's room was a disaster. If I had not already spent over a week researching vehicles and had my heart set on one, I would not have bought a car from this dealership. As it is, I will definitely never buy a second car from them. More

Monte Thompson- my salesperson- was immediately responsive and was a true and friendly professional who really went to bat for me. I was really impressed with his attention to the parameters I set and he never pressured me for more. I like that. I made an excellent deal and will definitely return. 1 more thing: they were shooting a commercial when it was time for me to “ shoot for TTL”. They were using the hoop, but Mr Jared Glover himself said the commercial can wait and customers come first and moved the goal for me to shoot. This why they should be your dealership. More
