The same two parts guys who sold me an in-stock $300+ trim part a month ago refused to accept the return of the part when I was unable to remove the old part. Painless experience with Volvo people! I stopped in to JF Volvo early in my decision making process to measure the cargo area of the Volvo XC70 wagon. The salesperson I met was helpful, pol I stopped in to JF Volvo early in my decision making process to measure the cargo area of the Volvo XC70 wagon. The salesperson I met was helpful, polite and never put any pressure on me. Several weeks later when I decided on the Volvo I was pretty sure I would get one from the Other Dealer because we test drove there, and the dealer is conveniently located. . But they never responded to my email follow up about finding me the car I wanted. Meanwhile, I saw that JF had one in stock. I emailed for the E Price, mentioned I had originally spoken with Tom Kirby and within a few days had a price and an appointment. Everyone I dealt with at Jim Fisher was respectful and helpful...you know, like real people ought to be!! I got a good price for the wagon and they gave me essentially what I wanted for my trade. No hassle. Tom is a refreshing salesman; I felt like he let the Volvo sell itself. My ONLY criticism was that I was there for several hours and only had water and thermos coffee. A little nosh would've been nice, and seems to me to be the way most "luxury" brands set up their showrooms. Not a big deal....but an observation. I HOPE the service department is as pleasant and knowledgable and real as the sales team. If they are, they will win me over. And I'm a loyal dog. :-) More
We worked with Doug on a warranty issue on our 2005 Volvo. Even though the sales department would not stand by what they had promised, Doug (in service) worked very hard to be as fair as possible. I would recommend Doug and the service team to others. They are friendly, prompt, and the work performed was excellent. I would not recommend the sales deparment. I would not buy another car here. I not only found the best price at this dealership on my new s80 but I received excellent service. Most important to me was that fact that they followed up after the sale to thank me for my business and se new s80 but I received excellent service.
