After i bought VW Jetta (my 7th new car in last 3 years). i experienced the level of care and service that i never felt before with my BMW 535, HellCat Charger, HellCat Challenger, RAM Trucks Limited edition, Honda Civic etc.. I wan to give a shout to all customers and potential customers of Jim Ellis Volkswagen Kennesaw that this dealership surpassed my expectations. Though i have no need at the moment, but if need arose, i will buy another VW just because the level of care and service i received from them. Specially their Sales specialist "Gem Baydemir" what an awesome guy.. Made my day the day i bought new Jetta. May end up buying some SUV soon :) my 2nd baby is 17 now. More

Another good experience Had trouble with our 2012 Passat TDI and had vehicle towed to Jim Ellis. They were able to assess the problem and make repairs. They also set me up to Had trouble with our 2012 Passat TDI and had vehicle towed to Jim Ellis. They were able to assess the problem and make repairs. They also set me up to have the recall completed on the TDI emission problem. The car runs very well and expect to get many years of service from this vehicle. My service advisor, Demarcus Tate, was very helpful in explaining the problem and getting the repairs completed. More

I brought my car to Jim Ellis for an oil change before and the service was outstanding. So when it was time for another service I called, made an appointment and hit the road. Tate, the service advisor was really friendly, helpful and kind. I had the 40,000 mile DSG service done and the estimated time that I was given was met. Super clean bathrooms and friendly staff. I will return for every service that is needed on my car. More

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Tate should be let go from the company his lack of professionalism and the way he speaks to the customers is absolutely appalling. He argued with me back and forth and hung up on me a few times when he was putting me on "hold". He point blank lied which is the worst of it all. He is not someone I would want working for my company. If I was Jim Ellis I would start looking for a replacement... I will never come back here again!! My car will need service done on it at some point whether its an oil change or new tires but because of Tate I will be taking my car to a different dealership. More

They order him a new ignition and install it. They return him the car running thinking he's going to drive it out of there and take it home, he pulled it into a space to leave it so he can take the other car he had home and the key breaks in the NEW IGNITION. The dealership super glued the key back together and tried to give it to him as if it wasn't their problem. And they told him AFTER 3 days of xxxxxxxx, that they will replace the key so they ordered him a new key. In the meantime they tell him to drive the car with the broken key. He drives the car home to find out that the car won't go into park now. So he calls the dealership immediately. The key comes in and they tell him oh it looks like it's going to be expensive to fix your car because it won't go in park. So what the xxxx did we pay $800 for? The car was stuck in park and now the car won't go back in park after you fixed it with a new ignition. Now you want to charge us another arm and a leg to fix it because you never fixed the problem to begin with. More

Another VW dealer really dropped the ball but Bill Kinney and the service department seized that opportunity to reassure me that they value loyalty and understand that regular customers are to be valued. Others should take notes since Jim Ellis's customer service standards and product are considerably better than the rest. More

Don't leave your car when you getting servic done. I went to get a basic oil change on my car. I also wanted them to check to see why my check engine light was on. They said they were going to do a dia I went to get a basic oil change on my car. I also wanted them to check to see why my check engine light was on. They said they were going to do a diagnostic test on my car. So I told them to call me to let me know what was wrong before doing any work. They called me to inform me that my computer system in my car need to be updated and they quoted me a price. I told they guy on the phone that I don't want any work done and I was coming back to get my car. I lived across the street. Once I got back they did the work I asked them not to do and charge me three times what I was going to pay. I asked to speak with the guy I talked to over the phone they said he wasn't there nor did he relay the message of me not wanting anything done to my car.... They will NEVER SEE ME AGAIN.... More
