I purchased a new car 4 years ago and had it serviced at the dealership. They were always concerned about me and my experience before during and after and made it worth my time. Because of that care and service I came back today and traded for a new car with the same great experience. Thank you Larry Fitzpatrick and Matt Rock and any others behind the scene. More

pleasurable but stressful I was taken care of very well. Jose and Oleg was very helpful. Great car salesmen. But when it came to talking over financing, it became very unclear. I was taken care of very well. Jose and Oleg was very helpful. Great car salesmen. But when it came to talking over financing, it became very unclear. We were directed to one of the finance managers. He came off condisending when he was explaining the financing to me and my Father. Right before I was about to turn my head to this offer, Brian approached me and we talked it out, and it finally became a lot clearer. Then I made my decision. After signing papers, I’m glad when I went to a different financier. Kevin Chung is very good at his job and was helpful. Thank you VW. More
tricked at the time of sale I saw a Jetta SEL advertised on autotrader with 119k on the dial. After some hard negotiating with Curtis a sales manager he presented what he deemed I saw a Jetta SEL advertised on autotrader with 119k on the dial. After some hard negotiating with Curtis a sales manager he presented what he deemed to be sufficient for the price. I left feeling like it was still a little over my all CASH budget, but after repeated calls from Jim Ellis I went back on 12/30/17 to purchase even though the price was firm he had given. So on a Sunday around six I went to purchase the vehicle after borrowing the few hundred bucks I was short. I paid cash assuming all would be taken care of tax, tag, title etc. Well I went to the tag office on 1/23 and was informed that the Ad Valorem was not paid and this is not the only shocker the title fee, license and tag fee paid by me for 18.00 at the dealership was not included in the package they mailed me. My gripe is Curtis could have stated that at a dealership as big as Jim Ellis, that for the price he negotiated it did NOT include Ad Valorem taxes of 600.00., if so I would have kept looking for something else in my budget. The fact that they did not even pay the 18.00 title fee included in the deal that I payed for is why I'm making this complaint. I called them promptly I still have not had a manager return my calls to find out what happened. Looks like I'm out of 600.00 that if i would have known they would not have had a customer in me, who goes to a dealership to pay there on AD Valorem taxes separately. Jim Ellis...Expect the best...seriously. Consumers should not be hit with hidden charges just be up front and honest is all. More

This This was my first time buying a new car and experience was great. What made it so great were the two people got to interact with Luke and Matt. This experience started with call from their internet team asking if I was still interested in a car. Whoever I was on the phone with was friendly and to the point. I then set a time to stop buy the dealership. Luke met me before I even got to the front doors. We get to the show room and its pristine, bright and modern. Personally I came in really prepared to buy, I knew what I was looking for and Luke understood. Luke pulled the car up for me to check out, it looked great. We sat down, talked, and agreed to a price. While the paper work was getting worked out I got to walk around the show room with Luke and we talked. He was clearly very well versed in the VW product line (even the older models) and even VW history. Luke was really down to earth and professional, not pushy at all. He then introduced me to Matt who would be handling my financial paper work. When I got to sit down with Matt he was very forth coming with information on my loan. He answered every one of my questions about the loan, the warranties, my credit and most importantly why. Matt knew everything I asked him. He was never fumbling with the answer he knew them. He knows the process and it shows. He gave me realistic expectations and I really appreciate that as a first time buyer. Matt sent me off with a handshake and standard envelope full of paper. (which I don't know how he stuffed all of it in there #magic) Luke then handed me the keys to my new fully detailed GTI. I did another full walk around inspection of the car and I was off. I will wholeheartedly suggest going to Jim Ellis VW and working with these gentlemen to anyone who will listen. The new car buying experience was wonderful for me. I was really impressed with the professionalism and the knowledge of the staff. Keep it up! More

Other dealers the salesman weren’t pushy but they weren’t knowledgeable either. Luke was knowledgeable and he definitely wasn’t pushy. My decision was made almost on the spot as to buy from him but because of work schedule I was delayed in the purchase for a couple weeks and he was in no way a pest to me about the delay. I actually felt like I bought a new car from a friend. More
