He secured my trade in value, purchase price and set me up with my Salesman Jose. Jose had my car ready to go when I showed up 15 minutes before closing on a Friday night after making the 3.5 hour drive there. He even held my dog on his lap while we did a quick shake down drive with the R before setting everything up. Mary made the paperwork signing process quick and smooth given my unique circumstances and had me in and out quick and easily. Frank made sure I got the red carpet treatment when we found very minor damage from shipping on the car which I’m truly grateful for. All in all I’m incredibly happy with my purchase. So much so that even though I plan to keep my Golf R a very long time I would gladly purchase from them any time in the future. I’ve made at least 7 VW purchases all over the country in the last 15 years and this was by far the best and most enjoyable one. Thanks everyone. I’m very happy with how y’all treated me. More

Horrible no loaner for older volkswagen. Took my vehicle in I'am pissed!!. I feel used from what I thought was a reputable car dealership I feel like I took it to a shady backyard mechanic. I am a single parent I'am pissed!!. I feel used from what I thought was a reputable car dealership I feel like I took it to a shady backyard mechanic. I am a single parent with a son in college I took my car in day 1 didn 't get it back until day 4 which cost me a uber ride to work coming & going a total of $160. Secondly the next day after getting my car from the shop my check engine light is back on. All that was done in 4 days was a glorified tune up which didn't fix the problem so why the cost for the turn up.? Now hundreds of dollars later I am back to square one. If you couldn't fix the vehicle then just say that not charge me hundreds of dollars for a tune up.I need someone that can make decisions due their due diligence and call me back. (Back to the loaner) Who made the decision if you have an older volkswagen 2012 you don't get a loaner while your vehicle is being repaired you spending the same Volkswagen money. If it wasn't for the older models Volkswagen sales wouldn't be on the map it's not a Mercedes nor a Porsche. Volkswagen just got popular again because of the older model. Random people at the grocery store or anywhere always ask me how do I like my Volkswagen because they where on the market looking for a new car. If you had a half star that would be warranted. More

Lee Robertson Great To Work With Lee made my experience at Jim Ellis very pleasant and is the reason I would recommend a friend go to Jim Ellis. Our service this time was a 60,000 mile service and a warranty recall and this was performed in a very quick and efficient manner and they had us back on our way in a short time. We have had DeMarkus Tate as our service advisor many times and ask for him when we return for service because we know he will ensure prompt and great service. You will not be disappointed with service at this dealership. More

Drae, the salesman I met, definitely knew his stuff and was very and helpful, and he followed up with me over the next few weeks without being pushy. Far from an honest experiance I went to Jim Ellis in Kennesaw, GA for an oil change on my 2015 Passat TDI. I was quoted over the phone that the oil change would be $89.99. I schedu I went to Jim Ellis in Kennesaw, GA for an oil change on my 2015 Passat TDI. I was quoted over the phone that the oil change would be $89.99. I scheduled an appointment for service. At the time of drop off I again inquired about the cost just to verify and was told by another employee that it was in fact $89.99. When I picked up my vehicle my bill totaled $99.49 before tax! incase your tracking slow that's an additional $9.50 from the advertised and quoted price. Digging into it the cost of it the oil change was increased by $4.05 and an additional misc. charge of $5.45 was added. When I inquired about these surprises I was informed that the misc. charges were shop costs "like gloves and towels". Well I'm sorry, but in my humble opinion as a consumer those are costs associated with the service and should be included in your upfront price. Or at a minimum when you quote $89.99 you should also add 'plus $5.45 in shop fees'. As for the additional $4.05 my service person had no clue and didn't immediately offer a resolve. When pressed about it she became uncomfortable and some what reluctantly in more of an ask then a statement said she could go speak with her manager. I opted to leave at that point and I'll tell you why.... A few months back I had a DEF injector fail and brought the car to Jim Ellis in Kennesaw, GA. It just so happened it was the same service adviser then that I dealt with for my recent oil change. I was charged over $100 for a diagnostic fee to learn the injector failed (it was obvious when you popped the hood that it failed, covered in white crust, really $100+??) So I paid my bill and scheduled a time to have it replaced later because they didn't have the part on hand. When I picked my car up from the dealership I had a zero balance because the part was under warrantee. When I inquired about having a diagnostic fee for a warranted part she told me there wasn't one, your good to go, have a great day. I produced the $100+ receipt she had charged me for a week prior (wasn't that on her customer profile screen she was staring at?). I requested a refund. I was told no one at the dealership could refund my credit card that she would have to get approval for accounting to cut and mail me a check. It took weeks to get a check with multiple calls from me to check on the progress. So for the $9.50 overcharge I opted not to go through that again. Instead I'll use my time to let everyone who reads these things know how my experiences have been. As a side note - Good year was $5.00 more for the oil change so I opted for the dealership. In retrospect they would have been less expensive; I would not have had to drop my car off and would have been about my day much sooner with more money in my pocket. More
