Good listeners! Car buying is generally not one of my favorite things to do. I must say, he did just that. I am a " buy and hold guy". I don't need a new car every 3 to 5, but when i do need another vehicle I will definitely give jim Ellis a call to see if they have something to fit my needs. More

Go in for an airbag safety recall, leave with a damaged tire I purchased a 2013 VW CC that had a couple of outstanding safety recalls. When the part became available for the airbag, I arrived at the appointed t I purchased a 2013 VW CC that had a couple of outstanding safety recalls. When the part became available for the airbag, I arrived at the appointed time. When the airbag was completed, the service department folks try to upsell you on all of these things that had nothing to do with why you are there. This time they told me I needed new brakes and that a tire was damaged on the sidewall and needed to be replaced. News to me, I drove there just fine. Within two miles of driving away the dashboard tire pressure monitor alerted me that I had lost 4lbs of pressure just since leaving their lot. Another mile down the road and it was down 6lbs. At that rate of loss, the tire would have been completely flat by the time they returned it to me after a 2.5 hour repair. They had to have caused the damage. It was fine when I brought it in. I don’t even know why they were messing with my tires or looking at my brakes. I took the car in for an airbag. An airbag! More

No pressure at all. The next thing I knew i was transferring my belongings from my vehicle being serviced to a another brand new vehicle. I had to wait a few days for a battery to come in since they didn’t have it in stock but my advisor was quick to provide me with a loaner vehicle while mine waited for the parts to come in & work to be done.
