Smooth, low pressure car buying I'm very pleased with my experience buying a car from Jim Ellis VW. Honestly, I have always avoided car dealers and this was my first time buying a ca I'm very pleased with my experience buying a car from Jim Ellis VW. Honestly, I have always avoided car dealers and this was my first time buying a car from a dealer. I knew pretty much what I was looking for but I also was shopping around within a particular model family. I worked with Torre the entire time and he could not have been more relaxed and low pressure. I was test driving CPO Golf TDIs and much more expensive new GTI Autobahns. When I finally decided on a CPO 2017 Golf TSI, there was no pressure from Torre to buy the more expensive one and price negotiation was very easy. We were able to agree on what I consider a very fair price for the value I'm getting from the car. When I sat down with Karl to talk financing, I was fully expecting the high pressure pitch to buy tons of add-ons. We discussed my financing options (I was already pre-approved through an outside source) and I ended up agreeing to finance through VW since they came back with a competitive rate. At this time Karl reviewed some of the Jim Ellis protection and prepaid maintenance packages with me and while he tried for a bit to get me to consider them (it's part of his job to sell them after all) he was not pushy and there was no pressure - either way I wasn't interested. I was honestly expecting the worst as I have read horror stories on the internet about pushy F&I managers at car dealerships all over the country. Karl was easy to work with and we had the deal done in about 30 minutes from the time I sat down. Easy peasy. I would HIGHLY recommend Jim Ellis VW and specifically Torre and Karl to anyone in the Atlanta area looking for a new or used VW. More

Our salesperson, Trey, was more of a facilitator for the transaction as opposed to an over the top personality. He made the in person dealership experience a very good one.
