Stay Away, Lies, Unprofessional Out of state, four hours away from dealership and interested in a CPO VW they had in stock, confirmed with salesperson Shannon it was available. Submitted online credit application 07/18/2019, Jim Ellis did a hard pull on my credit report lowering my credit score and then never contacted me back. I contacted them the following day 07/19/2019 because they still hadn't contacted me, they wouldn't provide me with an interest rate, payment amount or anything. Stated their systems were slow which makes no sense because are they turning away customers? If the systems are slow and I've been waiting hours, days you should be able to come back with something in that timeframe. Finally gave up and told them I wasn't interested anymore and within minutes received a call from GM Mike asking why. Told him no one could give me numbers and I needed an answer since I was out of state. Mike didn't really seem to care, gave an unempathic "sorry" like someone would be checking his call log to make sure he called customers they blew off and that was it. Called back a couple hours later to speak with someone in finance and spoke with Lance. Told Lance I need the hard pull Jim Ellis did on my credit removed since they provided me with ZERO service, Lance said he would submit it and call me back the next day or following, this was Friday 07/19/19. Of course by Wednesday 07/24/19 Lance didn't call me back or anyone from Jim Ellis. As usually to get any sort of contact I had to bother them and called to speak with the GM Mike, told him I was expecting a call from Lance that never happened and what was going on. Mike actually sounded like he cared but was probably scared of getting a bad review and said he would submit the request himself and I could receive a call from the credit reporting agency. Today is Tuesday 07/30/19 and no one had contacted from Jim Ellis, a credit reporting agency hasn't contacted me and there isn't a dispute on my credit report. So if you want your credit damaged by a horrible car dealership go with Jim Ellis. If you want to be ignored and always make the first contact go with Jim Ellis. If Jim Ellis has something you want and are willing to pay money for don't go to Jim Ellis. More

It was a long 4th of July weekend, and my wife's a/c went out on her Passat. When Autonation wouldn't even consider taking us until the following Monday, I called Jim Ellis. I made arrangements to drop the vehicle off the morning after I called, and the vehicle was ready that afternoon. Rose kept in touch with me throughout the day, via text, and kept me updated. Never again will I go to Autonation for anything. Jim Ellis is my dealership! More
Rose Shuck & Ryan Barry Great Customer Service I brought our vehicle in for a fluid leak. It was discovered that the lower oil pan was defective. Rose explained that they would have to order a new oil pan, which would be in the next day for our 2019 VW, Tiguan.. She also got us a loaner vehicle & she explained that Ryan Barry, would follow up & keep me in the loop because she would not be in when the vehicle was ready. I appreciated that knowing that the service consultants were working in concert to get our vehicle repaired. Barry, notified me when the vehicle was ready for delivery. He walked me out to the vehicle to explain what was done & discuss any issues I might have. The vehicle was washed.
