They'll lie to you to get that big paycheck I won't go into the nitty gritty of details, but to sum things up: we brought my car to Jim Ellis Mazda in Marietta for repairs. We knew the exact rep I won't go into the nitty gritty of details, but to sum things up: we brought my car to Jim Ellis Mazda in Marietta for repairs. We knew the exact repair that was needed. After discussing all these details with Jeremy, he advised we leave my car with them. No loaners were available, but no big deal. The next day, I get a phone call stating that what we thought was the issue was inaccurate & that my car would need an entirely brand new transmission, a grand total of $6,000. The was some annoyance in the tone of Jeremy's voice while dealing with us & our questions of how they came to that solution, a sort of "you don't know better than us, the Mazda dealership" tone. We decide to take my car to a 2nd Jim Ellis dealership in Atlanta, for a second opinion. This dealership agreed with our diagnosis, confirmed for us that my transmission is perfectly fine, repaired my car in 2 days, and now I have a perfectly running vehicle, which didn't cost me $6 grand to fix. So, long story short, shame on Jim Ellis Mazda of Marietta for trying to swindle someone. Thankfully for us, we know a few things about cars. I just feel bad for the poor sap that doesn't & gets taken for a ride by these individuals. More

Regular scheduled maintenance Scheduled the regular maintenance with the MyMazda app which makes setting up appointments very easy. After consultation with my service advisor, tech Scheduled the regular maintenance with the MyMazda app which makes setting up appointments very easy. After consultation with my service advisor, technician recommended new front breaks. This added less than a hour to the total time required and very reasonably priced. Happy with the experience and will be back next month for the scheduled maintenance on our other Mazda. More
