Trust issue I made appointment for oil change and it took about 1 1/2 hours to complete. Mr. Smith followed up with me once during this time saying they were rea I made appointment for oil change and it took about 1 1/2 hours to complete. Mr. Smith followed up with me once during this time saying they were real busy. I told him that I understood but I had an appointment. When my oil change was finished, Mr. Smith advised that the mechanic discovered fluid leakage from the tensioner. He said the seal needed to be replaced at a cost of around $600. I asked if it was an emergency and he said not but it needed attention soon. He said that it was difficult to tell how much had leaked as some had evaporated. I was very concerned as I was taking a short trip out of town in the next few days. I have always dealt with Doug Aldridge and Eddie Goins regarding my service so I expected the same professionalism from Mr. Smith. During the following week, I took my car in to my local repair shop and asked for their opinion. They cleaned up the area around the tensioner and told me there was no leakage from the tensioner but the fluid appeared to be coming from the area above that. On January 31, I returned to this same shop and found that the area was clean and there was no sign of leakage at all. Needless to say I am very disappointed and at this point I am not sure I will be returning to Jim Ellis for service. More

This dealership’s customer service is not good. I was not greeted by my service adviser when I came in. I received no updates about my car at any time during my wait. No one would say anything. They “washed” my car. It looked worse than before. They shouldn’t have touched it; I hope I can find another company to do my service. This company is awful More
I drive an hour to get to Jim Ellis to have my car serviced because I expect Mazda people to care for my car properly even though I am sure I could get my car serviced closer to home and at a lower co serviced because I expect Mazda people to care for my car properly even though I am sure I could get my car serviced closer to home and at a lower cost.
