Doug was amazing! I came to Jim Ellis very upset after another repair shop “fixed” my brakes by replacing rotars, pads etc. but failing to mention that I also needed an ABS control module! I found this o another repair shop “fixed” my brakes by replacing rotars, pads etc. but failing to mention that I also needed an ABS control module! I found this out when I almost wrecked because the brake pedal went to the floor. Doug listened to my frustrations, explained the needed repairs in layman’s language, and assisted me very efficiently. When the vehicle was fully repaired, Doug took me for a test drive so that I felt comfortable that my brakes “felt right” and were finally safe. He went above and beyond with his customer care. Excellent service, as always. You pay a little more, but you know it gets done right. The tech who does the courtesy inspection now sends you a narrated video so you can see exactly what they're seeing and you know it gets done right. In my case, the recommendations were spot-on -- air filter, cabin filter, and alignment were definitely needed. I declined because I always do those filters myself, and my tire store gives a nice discount on alignment -- but there was no pressure or pushback from the service advisor. More
