Maron was extremely helpful with my CarPlay issue. He listened to my concerns and scheduled my service for the next available. When I arrived he was ready to assist and allowed me to demonstrate my conce listened to my concerns and scheduled my service for the next available. I must be the anomaly from reading these reviews. I have had two negative experiences with the service department in Marietta over the last five years. As a result, I take my CX-9 to an independent auto re had two negative experiences with the service department in Marietta over the last five years. As a result, I take my CX-9 to an independent auto repair shop. I had two parts issues that I needed replaced, so I decided to give them one more try. I called two or three weeks ago and scheduled an appointment for 7:30AM on Saturday and ended up leaving my car with them on Friday afternoon. I also spoke with their parts department to confirm that they had the parts. At 11AM on that Saturday, they called me to tell me that they could replace the parts because they were in the warehouse. The entire reason for bringing the car it was the part replacement. The service advisor showed zero empathy and kept saying that I would have to bring the car back another time. He also said that I needed to pay over $300 to clean soot from all these different parts of the engine. My independent repair shop has never said anything about soot issues and the car runs beautifully. When I came to pick up the car, I go not apology or we are sorry that we have inconvenienced you. I was furious, and I admit that I was very rude to the staff. I feel really badly that I lost my cool, but I had had enough. I want to make clear that I'm not anti-dealer. I have taken my Hondas to Ed Voyles for years and have nothing but excellent and fairly priced service. I will never set foot in the dealership again. I am going to drive my car to the dealership in Roswell to get the part work done. More
