And the notification on the screen counted down to 5k miles and said “due for service”. But upon arriving at Jim Ellis Mazda, the Service Rep said that was incorrect, I should have it done at SEVEN thousand or 7,500 miles. He suggested I come back - but sorry, I’m busy and made arrangements. He was just thinking it would save me my free oil change for a few thousand more miles, trying to help me out. But - had I known this earlier, I may have considered it. You might want to look into this Disconnect between the sales and service areas re: first oil change. Is it 5k or 7k?
