I have an elderly mother whom still drives but doesn't know anything about cars. She does not speak English well, as being from an Asian country. We already had a problem with them last month because they sold her something she did not need during a routine oil change and that is where I added to be contacted if anything was done with her vehicle. She had a flat tire so she took the vehicle to the dealership. She was told at with only 20k miles on a 2011 model vehicle the flat tire was "worn out" beyond repair . At that point the service writer LISA told her she needed 1 new tire, she did not inform her of the other tires needing replacement, that would be a safety issue in my book! Instead LISA just sold her the one tire. The service manager MATT was notified of the safety issue with the other tires and said that LISA did her job and sold her the one flat tire. MATT goes on to say that there was nothing he could do about the other "worn out" tires, which shocked me. Matt became rude over the phone because I was wanting some "REAL" customer service assistance. I am my mothers only advocate. Kia Cobb County wont be her advocate. They just wanted the sale. So, I took the vehicle to Marietta Kia where they treated us correctly, Just let this be known that whenever you have an elderly woman or any woman getting service repairs, then it would be in everyone's best interest to have someone with them as to not be taken advantaged of. Granted, there are many women who know how to handle themselves and have a lot of knowledge about vehicles, but I believe they are the highest population that are taken advantage of by fraudulent and dishonest practices. This car purchasing experience has been the most positive of all our car purchases. Keely was friendly, helpful and the negotiations were enjoyable and done very quickly. My daughter's car "died," requiring repairs costing more money to fix than the car was worth. We visited Cobb County Kia the day we received this news. My husband and my other daughter both purchased cars from this dealer in late 2012. Both were impressed with the courtesy of the sales representative in listening to what each of them was looking for and working with them to find the cars they wanted at the price they were willing to pay. In our most recent experience, Jason Courie treated us with the same courtesy and professionalism we had experienced in the past and presented us with several choices that fell within my daughter's budget. At no time did we feel the least bit high-pressured. He was very attentive and listened to what she wanted. He presented the "facts" and did not pressure her to make a decision. Within three hours of arriving at the dealership, she selected a car and obtained financing for the car of her choice (a used 2013 Kia Rio). Jason and Cobb County Kia turned this stressful situation completely around. The next day Jason called to tell us that the dealership received approval for the loan at a BETTER interest rate than originally quoted. This is the third Kia our family has purchased (in less than a year) from this outstanding dealership . We have never been treated with more courtesy and consideration by any other car dealer we have visited in the past. Jason continued that "tradition." More
